I just purchased a new IPAD (16GB + 4G cell) I am trying to get it to connect to the wifi hotspot at the apartment where I live. The wifi signal requires a username and password. How do I get the IPAD to prompt for the username and password? Any help is appreciated

As already provided, if you don't have such in your iTunes library, on your computer, then there is no way to put it back on your phone. Apps are DRM protected, so even if you found a copy somewhere, you wouldn't be able to use it.

Hello All,
To anyone with the same problem described above, on THEIR iPad (if it is running iOS 7.0.2):
Go to Settings; Mail, Contacts, Calendars; DELETE your *******@btinternet.com e-mail account, that you originally set up either using 'Other', or the 'BT' option which I am sure was in the list previous to the iOS 7 update.
Then ADD a NEW account choosing YAHOO from the list of options. DO NOT USE 'OTHER'.
Enter the correct details just as you (almost certainly) had already done in your previous attempts using 'other'.
When you see the 'verifying......' and 'the blue ticks' you should be able to exit settings and open your mail app and then receive all your 'old' e-mails again, AND be able to SEND as well.
All my 'old' e-mails, were NOT found in the 'old e-mail' folder though. THEY are still in my inbox.
So this fix worked for me.
After I deleted my account from 'OTHER' and put it in Yahoo, I like other people also ended up with more folders.
I hope this works for you on YOUR Apple devices.

I bought a new album off of iTunes the wifi wasn't strong so I left my computer on as it was downloading and went to sleep. This morning I went to listen to the songs and some of the songs will only play the first 50 sec or the first minute? How do i fix it or refresh them so i can listen to them fully?

Our exchange server crashed and we lost all contact and calendar data. We found an app to get the contacts off of people's phone to import but can't find the same for calendar. How do I get my calendar info off my phone and in to new exchange server?
You'd have to think through this, but it seems like if you are using Outlook, and the items vanished from the Outlook client as well as the server,that you could re-populate Outlook using iTunes.

My iPad (first generation iOS5.1.1.1) quit connecting to my home WiFi recently after years of being able to. All other devices in my home connect fine. I have taken every step I can find to try and remedy things including restoring my iPad to factory settings. Still nothing - when it tries to connect to my network it just spins. I took my iPad to work and it connected to the WiFi there just fine. Came back home, no good. After talking with my local Mac supplier they've suggested that maybe my router is the cause. I've unplugged it several times for lengths of up to an hour but that still isn't getting things working again. Any ideas?
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app

• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

If those things don't work I'd take it into the apple store and have them look at it. I've not heard of wifi antennas 'breaking' but that sure sounds like it.
I had my laptop repaired once and then the wifi stopped connecting unless I was in the same room as the router. Turns out the tech hadn't reattached the antennas. Thing is, I doubt you were in the 'guts' of your iPad so they had to have gone non-functional on their own. And beyond a normal person's ability to fix. -
HT4623 I entered my username and password but it says on my Ipad screen that it is deactivated.
I have been on leave then when I came back I did not use my Ipad for one month. When I thought of using it again, I charged it first then when I entered the username and password it appeared on the screen that my Ipad is deactivated. How can I use it again?

I,ll be waiting for urs reply.The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

Ipad is connected to the wifi but unable to access internet or receive mail.
Recently set up new broadband connection. Wifi set up and iphone, computer all able to connect to wifi and internet. Ipad recognises old networks and able to connect for wifi access, but for this new connection I am able to connect with the ipad but it does not seem to be able to receive or transmit any information, hence I am unable to access any internet, update any apps or check my email. Can anyone help? I've tried rebooting the system, forgetting the network and shutting the ipad off, all to no avail!
I've rebooted the router, I've made the ipad forget previous settings, rebooted the ipad, called the useless talktalk technical help. I have used this ipad previously with a previous talktalk connection. I'm not sure why this time I can't connect - perhaps its the security setting on the new router that isn't competible with the ipad? I'm using a D-link DSL-3680 router if that helps
