i changed my apple id user name for icloud on my iphone, but when i want to sign in to icloud on my ipod it gives me only the old id user name, and of course its deleted and when i put the old password for my old id it doesnt accept it, so please help me in how my ipod get the info that i changed my apple id, and also when i try to sign off icloud it again gives me back the old apple id and ask me for a password to turn off my find my iphone, im really confused and i tried everything.....
My ipad was changed normally and easily but my ipod is stuck and of course is not listed on my devices on icloud....please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To get it to your new Apple ID, you would need to change it back to your old on so you can turn off Find My Device and turn it off. Once that is done, change it back to what you are currently using now. Take a look at the article below for more information.

Change your Apple ID temporarily
If signing out and back in to iMessage or FaceTime didn't help, try these steps:
Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
Tap Settings > iCloud. Complete these steps only if the Find My [Device] setting is turned on:
Scroll down and tap Sign Out, then tap Sign Out to confirm. If you're using iOS 7 or earlier, tap Delete Account, then tap Delete to confirm.
Tap Keep on My [Device] or Delete from My [Device]. In either case, your data remains in iCloud and will be updated on your device when you sign in to iCloud again.
Enter the password for your previous Apple ID.
Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
Return to Settings > iCloud and sign in with your new Apple ID.

Just like the description above. Changed my Apple ID online and in the phone, but when I go to the App Store it asks for the password to the old ID. Then when I put the password in it says that it's incorrect.
Go to settings>store and make sure the new apple ID is logged in at the bottom of the page.
If not, log out of the old one and sign in with the new one. -

You can reset all of your settings for the Apple TV, which includes your account information:

Any one device can create only three iCloud accounts: this is tied to the hardware, not the user account, and there is no way round this.
You will have to create an iCloud account on another iOS device or Mac, then you can sign into it on your iPhone. -
apple id is working fine on computer but when using it to sign in for aps on iphone, it says 'incorrect id or password'
Nevermind... Tech had me sign into store and itunes. Signing in there fixed the problem.

I changed my Apple ID (new email address, same account), via the Apple website on my laptop, but when I try log into ITunes on my iPad, it still has the old ID. It is greyed out, so I can't change it. On researching further, it seems I have to sign out of iTunes and sign back in using new address. Ok so far, but when I do this, it asks if I want to delete the account and any data on the cloud. If I do this, and sign in with changed ID, will all the data be there Or will it be lost? Sounds like apps purchased from those accounts got synced to the iPod and it is asking to log into that account to update them.
- Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
- To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.
What do yo see if yo go to the Updates Section of the App Store app? -
I changed my Apple ID password and successfully validated it. Problem is the iPad App Store won't recognise me anymore. if I select an App to update it asks me to enter password, then says "You have not verified your Application ID.Tap OK to view the instructions on how to verify your ID.".
A new pop up box then appears saying an email has been sent to my address. The box to resend this is greyed out and the bottom line says "your email has already been validated successfully. thank you."
Any suggestions on how to solve this problem and force the iPad to let me update or download Apps again?Same issues here. I try and log into face time and cloud, it tells me my email is not veryfied. I go back through the link sent in the verification email and, low and behold, it tells me my address has already been veryfied.
Getting really annoyed now. I have tried using a different email to log in with, but not even getting the verify email in my inbox, even after it states it has sent one.

When trying to sign in to iCloud on iPad2/iOS5 I receive User name or password is incorrect dialogue box w/ and "ok" bar. The screen freezes at this point and then it just spins "verifying" at the top. The only way to clear it seems to be turning it off. The same login/password worked on iPhone 4 and MacBook Pro. iPad is upto date. Any thoughts?

Well I finally chatted w/ someone at apple and was able to resolve it. First I am going to tell you what they told me, then I am going to tell you what I would do different.
I already had iOS5 loaded
They had me go to Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings
After I did all that it still wouldn't accept the login/password.
That is when we discovered that I hadn't set the iphone right to back up to the cloud so there was nothing there for it to open.
Next they had me back up my iPhone to the cloud. (that took about an hour). Once it was done I went back to the iPad, you have to put some stuff in like country, blah blah blah, you are looking for the back up to iCloud, computer or iTunes. Select iCloud and from there it took about 5 minutes and everything was up and running.
What I would do differently - I would not reset the iPad. I didn't loose anything I can't replace but my pad desktop is a mess and I have to fix all that again. I would do the iPhone back up and then once that was done try to log into the iCloud again using the settings>iCloud. If that didn't work I would do the steps above because it did work.
Back up on iPhone: Settings>iCloud>Storage and Backup>Backup Now.

When husband and i got our iPhones we shared the same Apple ID but not that we have added an iPad and Mac he wants his own apple ID how can I change the apple id/icloud to his own without deleting all his phone and resetting?
Welcome to the Apple community.
You both need your own iCloud accounts. I would set up the second iCloud account and get all the data showing in both accounts, before trying to delete anything. You will need to delete the unwonted contacts and appointments etc manually. -

Apps are forever tied to the Apple Id that bought/downloaded them .
If its requesting your son's Apple Id it means those Apps where purchased/downloaded using that ID. The only way to get rid of that is to delete the offending Apps.
You will not be able to update Apps acquired with his Apple ID without his password. -

It doesn't sound like you "changed" your Apple ID, sounds like you created a new one. Bad idea. All content bought with an Apple ID is forever tied to that ID. The ID that bought the content is the only ID that can update the content. Apple does not merge IDs not does Apple transfer content from one ID to another.
