I create a new Teksteditor document in the Cloud. Then, when I go to my Cloud account, I see only Pages, Numbers and Keynote doc.No Teksteditors.
When I make a new doc. in Texteditor, I chose to make it in the Cloud, and not on my Mac.
Later, when I go to iCloud.com and sign in, I cannot find texteditors doc. Only Pages, Numbers en Keynote docs.
Where do I go to to find my Texteditor-doc in the Cloud?
Text edit documents are only available on a Mac.

I purchased Pages, Numbers and Keynote for my MacBook Pro and iPad last year. I just purchased a new iMac for my wife and it came with iWorks. When I try to save a document on the iMac it tells me I must buy an iWorks serial number, but the App Store shows the applications as installed and will not process the request. How do I correct?
Did you pay for iWorks to come preinstalled on the iMac? Because it sounds like what you have is a trial version, which is why it is stating that you need to buy a serial number.
I suggest that you delete the entire trial iWorks suite. Once they are safely in the Trash where the Mac App Store can't see them, you can sign into your account on the MAS and download the MAS versions that you own a license to use. -
How can I recover the documents I had in Pages, Numbers and Keynote?
I have an iPad that couldn't be updated because my laptop was an old one. Recently, I bought a new laptop and tried to updated my iPad plugging to the laptop. The problem was that the documents I had in Pages, Numbers and Keynote as well as the PDF files in iBooks have disappeared. I just checked the size of those apps and compared it to the one that Finder says those have on my computer and it looks as if the files were there. I have tried to access them but the type of file is .ipa and I have no idea on how to open them. Is it possible to recover those files? If so, how can I do it?
I had to restore my iPad earlier tonight. Some of my apps, docs...including numbers and keynote did not transfer to my iPad. I thought of how I transfer music to my iPhone (double tap and slide to device) and low and b, you can transfer apps the same way. However, I lost a lot of data in both numbers and keynote...I too would like to know how I can restore my files. If not, work, time and energy down the drain!

How can I exchange my pc created documents on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with my mac and my Pages, Numbers and Keynote created content with my pc? I need to create and edit and exchange between both types of operating systems.
Your Windows system will not open any Pages, Numbers or Keynote documents. No applications exist for Windows that can open those formats. You will need to export your documents in Word, Excel and PowerPoint formats, respectively, before you'll be able to view and edit the documents on your Windows system. The iWork documents can natively open Word, Excel and PP documents, though there are limitations on what can be imported (for instance, Numbers does not support all possible Excel functions). Consult the documentation for the relevant iWork application for details on importing and exporting.
If you are asking how to get the documents from one system to the other, then there are several ways to do that, including file sharing, using an external drive (hard drive, USB flash drive), or emailing the documents to yourself. Which would be best for your situation I can't say without more details about your usage.

I got the new update for my macbook air and know it is saying that i have to pay for pages, numbers, and keynote and it said that it was free before i did the update. Can somebody please help... I need pages for a school report.
If you had the previous version of those apps on your machine then the upgrade is free.
If you didn't have them installed you must purchase them. -
How do I tranfer pages, numbers and keynote from my previous IMac to my new MacBook Air?
Did you install iWork by downloading them from the Mac App Store or via an install disc?
App store is just as simple as downloading them again. If you used the install disc them instert it into your iMac and use the 'Remote disc' function on your MBA. It's located in the left-hand pane in Finder. Make sure both mac's are on the same WiFi network. Just select your iMac from your MBA and then you can access the install disc. -
I brought a Mac book Air this September. However I did not buy the apps pages, numbers and keynote. I was

I was told at the Apple Store when Mavericks was introduced that Pages, Numbers and Keynote would be offered at no charge with Mavericks. When I downloaded Mavericks, I could not figure out how to download them without the charges. When I downloaded the most recent OS to my iPad, I got a prompt to download them. Can someone tell me how to download them without the charges?
Welcome to Apple Support Communities
It's not correct at all. It is true that Apple is offering Numbers, Keynote and Pages for free, but only for users who have purchased a Mac after October 1st, 2013, and for existing iWork '09 users. If you have not got iWork '09 and you purchased your Mac before October 1st, you need to pay for these apps.
The new iWork version (Numbers, Keynote and Pages) is criticised by its lack of features. Instead, I recommend you to get LibreOffice or, if you need the most complete productivity suite, Office for Mac. Give LibreOffice a try first -
IOS Pages, Numbers and Keynote do not show my iCloud Documents
Well, I have and iMac, a MBP and a 3rd gen. iPad. I set up my iCloud account many months ago and everything was fine until I updated my iPad to iOS 6.
Now, neither Pages, Keynote nor Number show my iCloud documents, although they do appear in mi iMac and MPB.
I have turned off and on the "Documents and data" option in the iPad's iCloud settings and the "Use iCloud" in the Pages', Numbers' and Keynote settings.
The strangest thing is this: When I go to Settings - iCloud - Storage, I can see all my documents, but they would never show up in the application.

I was told I would be able to download Pages, Numbers and Keynote for free with my new Macbook Pro however I got it as a Christmas present and as it was bought on the 8th of November I missed applying for the up-to date-programme within 30 days. I was wondering if there was any chance of talking to apple and downloading the apps anyway, and who exactly i would need to contact.
Thanks in advice for helpSolved the problem- I contacted apple on their support line found on this page... http://www.apple.com/uk/support/mac/ and they were really helpful and talked me through what to do on the phone, I now have all three productivity apps. Hope this helps

Will 128gb of ssd be enough for pages, numbers and keynote documents?
I am going to be buying the MacBook Pro 13" with retina display in the next month or so and I was just wondering whether the 128gb ssd that it has will be enough for Pages, Numbers and Keynote documents. There will be about 30-40 documents on each of those apps. If I do need the extra space I do have the money for the next size up (256gb). On the MacBook I will also have photos on iPhoto that I will be editing. Thanks
You won't have any problem with that amount of documents, unless they are very heavy.
128 GB are enough for most users unless you need to store a lot of files. Respecting to photos, it depends on the amount of photos you want to store, so you will have to check this.
If you get a MacBook Pro with Retina display with 128 GB and you see that you haven't got enough storage, you can return it during the first 14 days of use and get one with 256 GB. Another option is to get an external drive -
I bought iPad air. How can I download for free the app : iPhoto, iMovie, Pages, Numbers and Keynote?
Before you can download free apps:
1. Make sure you are using IOS 7 (ignore)
2. Make sure your iPad is registered in My Support Profile.
https://supportprofile.apple.com/
3. Try downloading again; it should be free.

Took delivery of imac yesterday with pre-installed Pages, Numbers and Keynote. App store says they need updating but won't let me because I've never owned the major version of the software. I have paid like anyone else, so why can't I update?
You must be signed into the Apple Store with your Apple ID or it won't work.

How to deal with a 100 Store Error:
Try here > Mac App Store: "An unknown error occurred (100)" when purchasing
If that doesn't help, open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type this exactly as you see it here;
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/Cache.db
Click Go
Move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Now here:
~/Library/Preferences/
Click Go
Move these files from the Preferences folder to the Trash.
com.apple.appstore.plist
com.apple.storeagent.pllist
Now here:
~/Library/Cookies
Click Go
Move the com.apple.appstore.plist file from the Cookies folder to the Trash.
Empty the Trash, try the App Store. -
My iPad Air crashed after updating latest iOS software. After resetting the system, Pages, Numbers and Keynotes are not available. How do I get the apps back into my iPad?
You can also re-download the apps.
App Store>Purchased>Re-download apps -
Pages, Numbers and Keynote won't update. App Store says update was applied, but when I open Pages/Number/Keynote, the version of it shows the old version.
When you updated, the old version remained on your Mac, in a subfolder within Applications named iWork '09. Any icons you have on the Dock still point to that old version. Try opening the Numbers that is located in your main Applications folder, not the one in the subfolder. If that works, then drag that one to the Dock.
