i had te same problem, funny it worked too...
next questions i have:
my msn contacts (emails) show up in my calling countact in the iphone, i would like to not see them here, how can i get rid of them?
i would like my phone number contacts to be saved in outlook in the event i forget my phone home! is this possible as the only way i see to access them is by the phone...

You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option which is revealed in the iTunes app on your iOS device by tapping the more button at the bottom of the screen. -
I came into the store because my middle button was not working. Then they gave me a middle button that's on the screen of my phone. I got a new phone do now my middle button doesn't work but I still have the internal digital button, how do I remove it?

Whenever I ask Siri a question it just links me to a website instead of just saying the answer. The reason I ask Siri is because i am not in a position to look at my phone. How can I get Siri to just answer my questions??
I found that the only time Siri will read anything to you is if it finds a Wikipedia article. Siri will let you know it found that, and ask if you want it to be read out loud. Other than that you will hear the "I found this, take a look".
The only other thing you can do is activate "Speak Screen". It will involve you taking a look at your phone for a moment, selecting what you'd like to look at, but Siri will read the content to you. It's in Settings > General > Accessibility. Once activated, all you have to do is slide two fingers from the top of the screen and you will have it read to you. I use it all the time because of my astigmatism. It's pretty useful. -
i have an app that i want to download on my mac pro. it will not let me because it was not approved. i know the app is ok. how do i get it downloaded?

Thanks!I wish, essentially you have an image file of your personal information integrated with parts of IOS in the cloud server. If you had it on your computer - you could use one of the software extractors (bunch with google search, paid and free). From icloud server it can be restored to other iphone, ipod touch, ipad - then backed up or imported to computer for you. Then that other device can return to your friend or family member. That is the only way I can think of.

Thanks ChrisHi, I came across the same problem and was not able to open any iCloud folders on Outlook, and iCloud was continusly asking to repair the iCloud Control Panel. I accidentally added a passcode to my ipad mini after yesterdays IOS7 update. I then promptly forgot the passcode (I think apple secretly changed it really).
Its taken me 2.5hours to figure out how to reset my ipad after discovering there was no other way of getting into my ipad around the passcode.
Luckily my ipad backs up every evening to icloud so i had a new back up sat waiting for me.
Annoyingly, itunes wouldnt let me restore the factory settings as the "find my phone" thing was switched on. The only way to turn it off appeared to be via my ipad which I was unable to get into.
I eventually figured out how to restore it without this problem, by pressing the home button as I turned it on and then getting itunes to recognise it as a new ipad and restoring its settings that way.
Following this it was relatively simple to restore my icloud back up.
Everything appears to be here, my calander, my contacts etc. All my apps have been restored and Im yet to find any app that has missing data except for one (naturally the one that is most important to me).
This one app appears to have been returned to my ipad but it no longer has any data attached to it. I have lost everything. Payment info, Client info etc.
Is there any way of recovering the data. I presume its floating around the ether somewhere given I automatically back up to icloud every night.
CheersThere's one other variable, although it shouldn't really come in to play but worth checking anyway. Is it possible that the backup was made using a higher version of iOS than the one you are running now? For example, if you were running the iOS 7 beta, then restored to version 6.1.3, the backup would not be listed as you cannot restore to a backup made on a device running a higher version of iOS. If that's the case, you would have to update to the same or higher version of iOS in order to access your backup.

I was using the iCloud for my iPod and had recorded several irreplaceable Voice Memos. It went up to the Cloud, but I wasn't too savvy with the Cloud at that point, so it wasn't syncronizing to my home computer. So, the thing is that the iPod died and the backup is in the Cloud and I would like to load the backup to my iMac to recover my data. How can I do that? Thanks
The new device I got to replace the iTouch is a iPad and I don't see the playlist I created with previous voice memos on it at all. Is there any way to access them on the iPad? If I erase the iPad and restore it with the old back up will the Voice Memos come along and get in to my home computer or will I be out of luck?

I just purchased a mac air and cannot figure out how to get my pictures from my toshiba windows to the air into iphoto and I also cannot get my library of music and apps to get to the mac air as well. Each time I try to synch it tells me it will repace my ipad and iphone with the blank library from the new air. How do I get my music, apps and photos to the air. I just subscribed to imatch and it charged me and only has 600 of my 2,000 songs!
You must move your photos and music from your Toshiba to your MBA directly, not using the iPhone. The Migration Assistant app on your Mac will help.

I can't sign into iCloud because my Apple ID doesn't work there. For some reason it gave me a .mac email and I don't remember the password. When it gives me the option to reset my password, it's my Apple ID password which I don't want to do. I have ended up chaning my Apple ID 3 times lately and I still can't get to my cloud management. We have a 10 person office - all either use Acrobat XI or Reader XI. One person is on Windows 7. The rest are on Windows 8 (not 8.1). I say this because I thought it was a Windows 8 issue, but having the same problems on the Windows 7 machine. We are all having problems opening pdf's sent to us from other firms. This has increased in frequency over the past two months. We've checked with the various firms, and their other clients are not having problems. Some pdfs open but with a lot of missing content and strange formatting, others won't open at all. There are different error messaged depending upon the doc. Some are regarding the fonts, for example "can't extract the embedded font...." Others are "insufficient data" errors. There are more, but for purposes of keeping this short, I won't include them. Another unrelated issue is that we are having trouble printing excel files to pdf. The files end up with bad formatting. I've worked with adobe "chat" support, our IT consultants with no resolution. I also haven't found any similar "known issue" online Would very much appreciate any assistance. Thank you
The font embedding can be a problem if not done and you are trying to view the PDF and do not have the font on your machine. Acrobat will often try to find a replacement, but it is not always a good choice. Sometimes the "Use Local Fonts" button can be changed in state to resolve some of the viewing issues.
If you are trying to copy or export info, then it is important that you have the fonts on your system. Otherwise, the message you are getting about embedded fonts would not be showing up.
As for Excel formatting, be sure that the Adobe PDF printer is selected in the printer screen before you look for the paging and formatting of the file. In most OFFICE programs, if you change the printer the application will reflow the document to best match the printer (called "using printer metrics"). So check before you create the PDF that the layout is correct. -
