I deleted some backup folders and now i can't turn on backup

i thought i was cleaning up and deleted some backup folders. now when i click on time machine i don't have the option to turn on/off backups. if i attempt to access it via Finder it will not allow me or another networked computer connect.

Please explain what you mean by "backup folders".
Please update your "Profile" (under "My Stuff") to include the version of OS X you're using and the details of your hardware. The advice you need can sometimes depend on those details.

Ok - an update ...
Managed to get the phone to backup to iCloud, so decided to risk the "Factory" reset.
Took the reset option including delete all data and crossed fingers.
It took a while to resotre from iCloud, but everthing seems to be back and ...
Bluetooth now working agaim.
Backup to Computer working again.
And somewhat to my surprise, GMail in the mail app is working again. (The surprise being that the implication of other posts was that this was a 6.1.3 fundamental bug)
Still no idea why the iPhone was corrupted - but at least the "Factory" reset seems to have recovered the situation.

My 5140 suddenly froze and now I can't turn it on

Without any warning the phone froze up, and since I couldn't turn it off I removed the battery and put it back in.
Now I can't turn it on.
I've tried removing the SIM-card, I've tried charging the battery, but still no life-signs.
The little light on the top left of the phone is on, so it obviously has power.

I made my main account a parental control account and when I accessed the account created as admin, at the Parental Control options I deleted my main account and now I can't get back in it. I need help with this problem.

I made my administrator account a parental control account, at the time of creating it, the system asked for my administrator password, to restart the computer, and the new account was created. When I accessed that account at the parental control menu I could see my main account on the list and i deleted the account from that list, and now i'm trying to get back to it but I'm not able to because every time i restart the computer brings me back to the account I created. I searched for help on the web and it says to go to users and select the account I want to restore but I can't do it. Please help.

Do a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, ignore the red slider if hat appears. If that does not help, take it to an Apple store for testing by the techs.

I just upgraded to OS7.0.6 and now I can't turn off the apps

I was fixing a paper jam on HP6700 and now I can't turn it back on.

I was clearing a paper jam and my printer lost power now I can't get it to completee the boot up. It stats to then tells me I need to shut down with the power button not unplug or turn off the power bar. I answer OK and then the printer turns off. The green light on the power supply goes out. I have to unplug it and then replug it back in and we go through the same routine with the same result. I got out my volt meter and the Power supply is only putting out 2.6V center peg to one side peg and 1V center to the other side peg. On the back is says 100/240 in, +32/+12 out. I think I need a new PS.
