I downloaded firefox to my mac os 10.5.8 and when i tried to install it, it said that it's not supported on my mac. The firefox icon has a slash thru it. Do i need an earlier version of ffox? or?????
when i clicked downloads to install FF into my Apps folder, the FF icon has a circle and slash thru it.
it said it's not supported by this architecture.
I looked on "system requirm'ts" and my os ought to be supported...????
Firefox 4 doesn't run on a PowerPC Mac.
Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.

Have you attempted to reset the SMC? That would be the first step. Hold the left control, option, shift key and the power button for about 5 seconds and release. Then try to reboot. Might as well reset the PRAM as well. Hold command, option, P, R on start up until the machine restarts. If that doesnt' have any affect we'll have to dig deeper into a potential hardware failure.
If this method doesn't work, check the webcam that will tell the problem is on the iSight & WiFi cable. If your webcam is ok, then it'll be the WiFi card problem. Hope it can help ;-)

I received an online gift card for Father's Day. When I tried to redeem the gift then I received a error message saying I had some itune files missing and I needed to reinstall/download itunes. Will I still have my previous purchase credits after downloading and reistalling itunes?
You will, because the credited funds are on your iTunes account, not the application. When you reinstall iTunes just configure it with your old iTunes account and your credits will be there waiting for you.

Flash is not available for iOS. Use the Facebook app or you might try on of the alternate browsers such as iSwifter or Puffin.

If you do have password setup on your computer & you get a window asking for one for an app, leave the entry blank and click the OK button or whatever button it has.

Can you connect to a wifi source on the device? Enable wifi in settings on the device itself. If you don't have wifi at home, there may be a local hotspot you can use for this.
The reason this happens is carriers don't want people downloading huge files that would slow their network as well as eat up your data plan. -

i tried to download an app on my ne ios 7 and something popped up that said i needed to accept to the following so i clicked on that and the page popped up and when i tried to click on the button that said send email to accept it wouldnt let me click on the button and now i cant download any apps on my phone
There must be a problem with the app store right now as a number of people seem to be having this problem right now. Try purchasing it using iTunes on your computer, accept the terms and conditions there, then either sync it to your phone or download it on your phone as a past purchase (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519).
