I downloaded the new 5.0b7 version, but I have OS 10.4.11 and now I can't log on at all.

How can I get back to the original version I had before this rescent down load?
I can't even open FireFox now.

Firefox 5.0 is a final release since June 21 and not a Beta as where ever you download the 5.0 Beta 7 is outdated.
Sorry but as of Firefox 4.0 and newer the old Mac OSX 10.4.x is no longer supported as OSX 10.5.x is the minimum along with Intel for Firefox 4.0 and newer including Firefox 5.0.
You can use the still supported Firefox 3.6 which is at 3.6.18 at http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html or if you were using a PPC and not a Intel then there was this third-party option at http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox/

Frustrated beyond belief. Trying to download the new Itunes 11 version so I can sync my phone. It goes thru the whole process, says I was successful and then I get a message - "Apple Mobile Device Failed to start----retry, and retry, same message.

If you already do, just open Muse, go to the help menu, choose "Adobe Muse Private beta" and sign in.

You don't. Apps are permanently tied to the ID used to purchase them. Instead of creating a new ID, change the primary email address on your existing ID.

Similar problem here. iTunes11 notified me it was available. However, auto-update failed. So, I downloaded for manual update. That failed with "permission" message. I am administrator on this machine (WIN7). I tried uninstalling old version, but it failed with same permission issue. I now can't start iTunes... throws permission message. I upgraded my original system from 10.4.11 to I believe 10.6. something about a year or so ago. I thought about re installing my safari app but when I go to open anything connected to safari my screen goes back to the desktop. I cant open any files that I have on my desktop that I set up through safari, like my banking program. Prior to changing system preference to safari default I was able to open those files and now I can't get into change it back. Can you guide me through this?

Try running the 10.6.8 combo update.

System Preferences or Safari Preferences?
Do a backup.
Quit the application.
Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. Select Library. Then go to Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.
Restart the computer, open the application and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.
If the application is the same, return the .plist to where you got it from, overwriting the newer one.

The error message is misleading, the problem is that you need WRITE privileges added to the destination directory tree.
Assuming you are using the "date" structure that LR defaults to, find the directory that contains the 2014 folder (the one that works) and add WRITE rights to the parent of "2014".
While you are there, if you want, add "2015" folder to beside "2014" and add READ and WRITE rights to that new directory.

Originally we were getting the error that the phone could not connect. Then, after deleting the account multiple times and re-adding it again, the error message CHANGED to having to log in to Yahoo and authorize.
When we went to Yahoo in a regular browser and logged in there was an alert telling us about connection attempts so it disabled mobile/iphone connectivity. It required that we change our password FIRST.
Then, we went in to Manage Apps and Webpages and saw that iPhone was not there but Facebook was.
After all of this went back to the phone and deleted then re-added the account again and SUCCESS!
It now also shows up on the Yahoo Manage Apps and Webpages.
Hope this helps someone else. Please consider giving me points if it does or like the post.
