I got a laser jet 1525nw color printer, when installed it comes up as a 1520,and wont print word doc

I don't know if it's becuase ot's coming up 1520 or not. But it will print stuff off the internet, but nothing from microsoft office. HELP!!!! I need to send out grauation accounments. thanks

It appears your printer is a commerical LaserJet printer.

I see by your post that the USB isn't being recognized.
I can help you with this issue.
Are you using the same USB cable? (known good USB cable)
You want to use the normal USB slot 2.0 cable and not the latest USB 3.0.
USB 3.0 are supposed to be backwards compatible.
Try another USB port on the Laptop, some of the USB ports are more powered then others.
I have provided a document to see if the printer is partially recognized in the device manager, which is causing the printer not to be recognized again. (the uninstall from the CD should have removed the entry and the printer from the registry)
Leave the printer turned on and the USB cable connected directly to the computer and the printer's power cord directly into a wall outlet.
How do I get into Windows Device Manager?
Here is a document for Identifying problems in Windows Device Manager.
Check to see if there are any hardware driver conflicts, you might see a ! mark or a red x beside a device with a conflict or unknown device, look under universal serial bus controllers, look for USB printing support or mass storage device, delete the entry by right clicking and select uninstall, OK.
Let me know how it was listed. (screen shots welcome)
If this is a Laptop then check the power management settings.
Access the device manager. Windows 8-How do I access the Device Manager.
Select universal serial bus controllers from the list, for each USB root hub, right click and left click on properties, for power management remove the check mark for "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power". It allows the computer to limit or turn off power for this device.
Disconnect the USB, run the full uninstall and reinstall the printer software again.

Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.
You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your app preferences and device settings again.

So am I correct in saying trying to utilise the Airport Express to access the printer over the network was a wasted effort due to the latest iOS? I had read up on the express before purchase and believed that was one of it's main purposes.

I understand you are having issues printing a custom size. I would like to help, but I will need some more information.
Make sure you are selecting the correct paper type and creating the proper custom size in the print driver.
Converted is 4.9 x 9.84 in inches.
I have included the manual for setting up custom sizes on page 51. LASERJET PROFESSIONAL CP1020.
What application are you printing from?
What operating system are you using? How to Find the Windows Edition and Version on Your Computer.
How is the printer connected? (USB/Ethernet/Wireless)

Laser Jet 100 Color MFP M175nw "Very low" message even after changing cartridge

Hello, Windows 7, 64 bit. Connection: USB. After a "supply very low" message for the black cartridge, I changed it to a completely new one (HP original toner with the hologram), but I still got a "very low" message and the print quality remained faint. Nothing worked: I tried the 3 solutions posted by Shirlzz1 to another user that had exactly the same problem (Alan_Gilmore), i.e. 1) taking out and reseating cartridges, 2) hard reset, and 3) taking cartridges out and hard reset, then reseating cartridges. I also tried a cleaning and a print quality report. All looked fine, but still "very low" message and faint print quality. The only thing that worked was changing the cartridge a second time to a completely different (new) one -- now everything's fine. So I'm guessing the first replacement cartridge I used is defective. However, is there anything else I can try with the apparently defective cartridge? They do cost a pretty penny, especially here in Denmark. Thanks for taking the time to look at this.

very low settings>stop/Prompt/Continue, select continue
low threshold> on/off
same for color too

When print selected, printer "prints" only blank sheets of paper. Cartridges ok and test print ok

Printer suddenly produces only blank sheets of paper when print job is set via desktop. HP Solution Center indicates ink levels ok. Printed a diagnostic page ok.

I have done all the diagnostics, alignment and cleaning, but it still will not print a test page. The page printed during alignment uses mostly blue colors. I tried printing an email and it printed every line or item that was blue on the original. All rest was blank. I have downloaded all recent fixes and drivers for Solution Center and printer.

When i ask my macbook air to print it tells me it is looking for my printer it takes several minutes before it finds it and then prints, why is that as my wife is connected to the same printer in the same way (bluetooth) and hers prints straight away

Perhaps you could try this to resolve your issue:
*How to Reset the Printing System*
1. Open System Preferences > Print & Fax
2. Move your mouse over the Printers list
3. Hold down the Control button and click the mouse (or right click if supported).
4. Click "Reset printing system ..."
5. Restart your Mac
This will remove your print queues but not your printer drivers. So you will only need to add your print queues again.

I have a 2010 MBP15 which I do not use as much as my pc. When I do, I check for updates and I believe I updated iTunes to 10.2.2 a week or so ago. Since I still use iTunes primarily on my pc, I didn't bother firing up the updated iTunes on the mac.
Last week, when I actually started iTunes on the mac, I got the message that Rosetta needed to be installed. Like abefighter I stalled. I surfed the net, read this thread to get some hints as to w** was going on.
When I checked the system profile in the mac, I think it showed PowerPC for 'kind.' Surfing the Internet I found out Rosetta was something needed to help applications work on PowerPCs. But wait, since this MBP is an Intel, why would or should it be asking me for some stone-age plug-in that was never mentioned in all the previous updates for iTunes until now? Fyi, the iTunes icon on the dock had changed to what I think is an AppleWorks icon.
So, I assumed that the update that resulted in my mac was corrupted. At first I scoured for 10.2.1, thinking that the last version was a dud, but in vain, nowhere to be found. I gave up and settled for a fresh 10.2.2. I did a casual delete, without touching any of the related personal preference files in my folder and it now which works fine. I'm glad I didn't jump to install Rosetta; I read elsewhere about someone who actually went through with the Rosetta install that resulted unhappily.
Unless the mac in question is a PowerPC, I would doubt the need for Rosetta installation.

Laser Jet CP1215 Color Matching Issues;

Colors are abnormally darker than the photos, art and copy especially those in red.They appear to be redishbrown.
But, not all the photos/art on a page are effected.
I have been working with HP Thech service guy who has put me through several days of worthless exercises, The printer's Self Test is perfect. I also created a custom color to no avail.
The problem evolved over the past month. I have replaced all the origional cartriges with 123 Inkjets HP Copatibles over the past year with no problems until now.

I installed new HP cartridges, but all colors are printing weak - magenta won't print at all. Removed all cartridges and gently shook - reinstalled with no success. Any ideas??? Thanks

Laser jet pro200 color mfp m276nw Scaner can not see the network path for the scan-to-folder

I am setting up my scaner...
with the scan-to-e-mail- no prob, but to scan to the folde (computer) the software said i have incorrect network path.
It is must be somekind bug in the system. Cause I just copy the path from the direct address in my copm!
I have attached the files regarding my fails-maybe someone is smarter then me and able to explaine what am I doing wrong?

That can be done using the HP Scan application.
If you don't have a such listed under Applications > Hewlett-Packard, download and install the Full Feature Software for your operating system:

Be sure to check box next to the HP Recommended Software or the HP Scan option during the software installation.
Then try scanning from the HP Scan application by selecting the RTF format.
For any issues, be sure to clarify your OS version and clearly describe the issue.
