I got CRS-4402 error when I run root.sh
Hi all,
I am installing Grid Infrastructure in my new environment, and I have a problem when I run root.sh.
In the first node, root.sh was OK, but I got a CRS-4402 error in the anothers two nodes:
"...CRS-4402: The CSS daemon was started in exclusive mode but found an active CSS daemon on node
brloulsrac01, number 1, and is terminating
An active cluster was found during exclusive startup, restarting to join the cluster..."
Please, can anybody help me?

Hi all,
When I run root.sh and I get following errors. There are two nodes configured on Solaris 10 for Oracle Database 10g RAC Release 10.2.0.1. I am using openfiler 2.3. and ISCSI for data storage. I have create file system OCR & VOT as Raw device and formatted these devices in Solaris skipping ocr voting disk for the first 1MB to avoid overwriting the disk VTOC. Network configuration and disk permissions are set correctly. I have installed the RAC on the same machines a few months ago for training purpose and everything was working very well. Last week, my openfiler hard disk has died. I have cleared the CRS and database on the same machines and wanted to reinstall oracle RAC on Solaris but now have following problems when I run root.sh from first node I get following errors. Please help me to fix this problem.

I've got the following message when I run form on web.

able to continue.
Details ...
Java Exception :
java.net.SocketException : Socket read failed
Is there any file missing when I setup my environment.

where MYHOST is my host server
XXXX is the port number of listener
abc is a virtual path
FORMS60_OUTPUT = C:\ORANT\WEBTEMP
which is a valid path.
Are they correct ?
Can you tell me what is the purpose of setting the above params ?

Hi! I had following error, when I run my jspx page:

When I press refresh button in browser, then I can see in my SelectOneChoice object value "Vitis"
Any ideas why it is so?

The reason could be that the selectItem with the value 'Vitis' may not be available in your selectOneChoice at the time of page load.
You may try printing all the values bound to selectItems using forEach and see if the list contains the value 'Vitis' or not.

HT1338 Receiving Error when I run Software Update in Mountain Lion.
I am receiving the following error when I run software update in OS-X Mountain Lion. The operation couldn’t be completed. (NSURLErrorDomain error -1100.)
Is this a problem with my MBP or is there an issue with the AppStore servers? Is there an alternate way in Mountain Lion to look for updates if the problem is with the AppStore app itself?

I got an invalid SDK license error yesterday,but after checking my license file,it's LIC-TUX81-SDK-128B_With-Jolt,other application are working well.
Then i found there is a issure and show take a patch from metalink site,after i took the Rolling patch RP355,i got a Unable to locate a valid project err when i ran the file named buildtuxedo.exe.
I get the invalid SDK license error again today when i run it. -

i am new to java, i tried to follow tutorial and tried to do my first program Hello World, javac is OK but when i run java HelloWorldApp then system shows me error, EXEPTION IN THREAD "MAIN" JAVA.LANG.........
how can i solve this error?there is error message explanation on java website as shown in below but thats temporary solution when i try again it doesnt work whats permanent solution like permanent patch , i set CLASSPATH and PATH but when i close and open command prompt then run the J java HelloWorldApp then this error appear,

If you receive this error, java cannot find your bytecode file, HelloWorldApp.class.
One of the places java tries to find your .class file is your current directory. So if your .class file is in C:\java, you should change your current directory to that. To change your directory, type the following command at the prompt and press Enter:
cd c:\java
The prompt should change to C:\java>. If you enter dir at the prompt, you should see your .java and .class files. Now enter java HelloWorldApp again.
If you still have problems, you might have to change your CLASSPATH variable. To see if this is necessary, try clobbering the classpath with the following command.
set CLASSPATH=
Now enter java HelloWorldApp again. If the program works now, you'll have to change your CLASSPATH variable. To set this variable, consult the Update the PATH variable section in the JDK 6 installation instructions. The CLASSPATH variable is set in the same manner.
