I had to restore my ipod touch, how do i do get the music from my itunes account back on my ipod?
how do I get the music back on my ipod after restoring it?
You can redownload iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Synced media like apps and music are not included in the iPod backup that iTunes makes.

My husband and I would like to combine our itunes libraries into one for each of our ipods. Can this be done?
You can just copy all of your music to an external sourcce ( cd/dvd/flash drive/hard drive) then copy onto the other computer.
You can type "merge itunes library" into the google search bar. -

i have an itunes library with 1,000+ songs on a pc. my daughter has a macbook air and i loaded my apple ID onto it. how do i get the songs from my itunes account to show up? This works fine on her iPhone, but having trouble on the new macbook air
Hey kbert73
I would do a transfer of purchases from the phone and not sync. If you sync then it will want to start over and sync music that is on the MacBook Pro. If you want to transfer the music, check out the article below that will give you multiple options on how to move. I have also provided on how to sync with multiple computers.

well i went into the itunes store and i checked my account and it said i bought them but i cant download them again and put them back on. can u help me with this?
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion. Use your backup to put everything back.
Certainly you did not restore your computer without making sure that your backup copy was up to date.
You can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod: File>Transfer Purcahses
If you are in the U.S. you can use the newly released beta version of the cloud to get your music. -
I am trying to take songs from my PC AND My Itunes account and send them to my husband's IPOD TOUCH First Generation BUT I don't want to change my whole ITUNES account that is already on my computer. When I plug HIS Ipod Touch into the PC, my ITUNES account wants me to CHANGE the DEVICE Name on the account and I don't want to do that. I only want to share SOME of my songs on my Itunes account and send them to h is IPOD TOUCH? Is this possible and HOW! Thanks a ton!!! I "checked" off the songs that I want to send but that's as far as I get before it asks me to change the Device Name?
Is his iPod usually synced to a different iTunes library/computer? If so, that would explain the message iTunes is giving you. An iPod is designed to sync with only one computer/iTunes library at a time. If you try to sync it with a new library, the iPod's contents will be erased and replaced with what is in the newer/different iTunes library.
So if there is content you would like to add to his iPod, simply transfer it from your iTunes library to his.

A year and a half ago I purchased an iPhone 4s and created a substantial library of music in the iTunes account on my PC. Just recently, I purchased a Macbook Pro w/ Retina and am just getting around to syncing the newer iTunes library on my iPhone. However, when I did, iTunes deleted all the songs that I had previously on my first iTunes library.
I still have access to all the other songs on the previous iTunes library, but how can I add both libraries to my iPhone without losing any music?
I've been searching for about three hours on ways to do this and I've come up with nothing.Hi davidforner!
I have an article here that I believe can help you accomplish your goals. That article can be found here:

This my second computer in the last two years. The first one fell and broke but I had only $20 worth of Itune stuff on the first one so I did not bother however this second computer I have tons of apps and music. I have lost all my apps while I was trying to backup my iphone with my new computer. I am wondering how can i get those apps back. How can I safely syn my iphone to my new computer without losing any more stuff.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer. Certainly after losing everything once, you started doing the basics and have a backup copy.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup ( twice), then you can transfer itunes purchases from the iphone: Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
Make sure that you have your computer authorized to your itunes account. -
How to delete other people's music from my itunes account
I had a lodger for around 6 months who used my PC to play music.
Whilst doing so, he created his own account and downloaded music in to my Library.
Every so often I will come across a song that wants his iTunes login. I would like to delete all music associated with his account leaving mine.
Is there an easy way to do this as I don't fancy ploughing my way though 30,000 songs to do this ?Cronoz wrote:

and you let him use your computer login?
Sure hope you didn't keep any personal info on your computer.
You should always create a new computer login for anyone to use your computer.
You can sort by Kind and look at Purchased but this will not tell you who purchased what.
There are AppleScripts for Macs that will put songs into playlists by purchaser. -
How do I get my music from my iTunes account on to my iPhone?
I have an iTunes account and I want to get that music on my I phone so I can use my phone to listen to my music. Can I do that? How?
Connect your phone to the computer with the iTunes music library and make sure "sync music is checked" under the music tab and hit the "apply" or "sync" button in the lower right hand corner.

My 5th gen iPod touh was stolen a month ago. I immediately removed that device from my account and yet today I looked at my photostream and there are tons of pics of these people on my photostream. How do I get this to stop?!?
Change your iCloud ID password: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5624. After doing so, go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the new password.

I deleted all the music from my itunes library because I mistakenly thought I had it backed up on an external hard drive. Can I restore the library from my ipod touch?

I had my itunes account on my laptop which has since crashed. I had to buy a new computer and iinstall the new version of itunes. It did not pull up any of my information with music library, etc. Does anyone know how to transfer existing music from my itunes account for my ipod to my iphone?

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was designed for you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchased content.
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848 - only media purchased from iTunes Store
For transferring other items from an i-device to a computer you will have to use third party commercial software. Examples (check the web for others; this is not an exhaustive listing, nor do I have any idea if they are any good):
