Yes, you need to install the iCloud control panel and enable Photo Stream on your PC.

You need Adobe camera raw version 8.7. Unfortunately your software pre-dates the camera. ACR 8.7 is only compatible with PSE13. But it is possible to download and install the free DNG converter to convert your raw files to the Adobe universal Raw format and the files will open in all versions of PSE (keep your originals as backups and for use in the camera manufactures software)

How do i transfer photos from ipad to computer. Ipad was synched to other computer and photos dont show anywhere else other then on the ipad. i cant get them onto the computer

I have photos on my ipad which were from my old laptop. when Synched to my new laptop they dont transfer or show anywhere else other then on my ipad.
Its like they are stuck in the icloud but i cant see them there either.
I just want to get them from the ipad to the computer.

You should be able to hit the "Agree" button, if you are on an iPhone right now. On a Mac, you should just left click the button where it said "Accept". I hope this helped.
To quit the app store, simply hit these keys:

The operating systems for iOS devices and for Macs are completely different. Applications written for iOS won't run on a Mac no matter what fiddles you try with it. You can sometime extract data by opening the package, but it still won't do you any good. Look in the Mac App Store in your Applications folder to see if there are Mac versions or similar programs (iTunes login required).

iCloud is completely separate from you cellular contact. If he doesn't know your iCloud ID and password he won't be able to see your data.

While setting up my new MAC the external hard drive was dropped and I have been told by an outside source they could not retrieve the files. It had 4 years of photos and videos on it. I remembered that I had downloaded some of the videos from the external hard drive (before it was broke) to Adobe Organizer 13 when I installed the Adobe 13 on my MACOS X 10.9.5. I tried to open the videos on the organizer which it shows the video but with a yellow ? and says missing file. Is there anyway I can open these videos?
Any input is greatly appreciated!! I am sick over losing the videos and had a little hope on Adobe Organizer until I was unable to open them. I am thinking it is due to my external hard drive not being plugged in. I thought when I transferred from the external hard drive to Adobe 13 that it would be there without the external hard drive needing to be attached but maybe I did something wrong.

To what did your camera record those photos and videos - camera's internal memory, inserted memory card, other?
Any remote chance that the latter may still exist for you to use to download the camera files to your new external hard drive?

Oh, dear.
If you use PSE as your external editor for iphoto, you need to save the images back to iphoto by using Save, not Save As and not changing anything like the name or format that would bring up the Save As window. (You may need to adjust the editor prefs>saving files>on first save to save over existing.)
OR you can export the photos from iphoto to the desktop, use file>open in the editor and then change whatever you want and either import the saved image to the organizer or import it back to iphoto as a new file. What you are doing is extremely risky, particularly to the iphoto library which you may easily damage by your workflow.
I would start the organizer holding down the shift key, then create a new catalog and switch to the new one. Then try opening the editor without opening an image and see if you get any farther.
PSE and iphoto are not designed to be used as you've been doing. You are trying to write to the iphoto library from outside iphoto, which is the fastest known way to corrupt the library and lose all your photos.

Bruce you can do a lot but you need to be specific. Your question is so general it's impossible to get an idea what you have interest in doing. However the first place I'd start is looking into sharing on your System Preferences and before you start punching in preferences get yourself a book at a bookstore about OS X and study a little on sharing and OS X in general. In order to continue to play and sync the music you purchased with your old account, you'll need to authorize your new computer/iTunes library to do so. You can do this by choosing Store -> Authorize This Computer and then entering in your old account credentials.
That's all you should need to. Then just create your own account and start purchasing and using it the same you have with the old one.

I have Windows 8.1 and just bought the quicktime mpeg-2 playback component for windows and it won't install. I currently have Quicktime Pro.

You actually have several options. However, since you specifically want to use it it with MPEG Streamclip, the easiest approach would be to download the MPEG Streamclip "Beta" package for the Mac which includes a utility app that will help install the QT MPEG-2 Playback component on Lion and later operating systems.
