You saved it after setting the Password? :
Inspector > Document > Document > Require Password to Open
I just tested it and it shows up ijn The Finder with a padlock on the file icon and does require a password to open.

Thank you. I have heard of Logic Pro 7, but I have never personally used it. I'm still growing in the world of Composition, and I know that it is something I will be studying in one of my Computer Music classes coming up for my degree. I think it is something I will look into getting once I can justify the price of it. I guess for the time being, I will continue to play and grow in my ability to use and take advantage of GB, and then see what I can do about or with Logic Pro when I'm ready. The thought of spending $1000 for a program is hard to bite, because I've already spent a lot to produce my music, not only electronic music, but also chamber music and so on. I had no idea it would be so expensive to dive deep into the world of composition! lol.

Apple has removed over 95 features in Pages 5.
It has also introduced multiple file formats that are incompatible with each over as well as everything else, and numerous bugs.
Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.

On p 39 it tells how to copy/paste, which I do a lot already, but it doesn't tell where to paste it so I can access or print it whenever I want. It's kind of a long recipe. Too long to type out. Select your iDevice in the iTunes.
Choose the Summary screen (tab) and scroll to the bottom of the screen.
Then un-select Encrypt iPhone backup.
iTunes will then prompt you to “Enter the password to unlock your iPhone backup”, enter the password you set originally.

How can I copy and paste styles in pages on my iPad?

I can not see a Paste Styles command to paste a style to words or paragraphs. Doesnt matter if it's a built in style from a built in template or any custom formatting. Apple help file has clear instructions that do not work.

What I do, since I have shifts with same times just different daily, is make an event for the shift. Then on the repeat option, choose custom, and then monthly choose the days I want to copy the event to. Then on the end date option I choose the end of that month, so it essentially doesn't repeat, more of the copy and paste effect. Hope this helps, cheers.

Try restoring from your backup of a day or so prior to when you made the error.

I can't copy and paste text into photoshop because the copy paste option is acting up

Let me explain. I found some text on a website I wanted to us for my project so I copied it into a text box that I made in photoshop. I edited the text to my liking and then hilighted the entire text. When I go to copy the text by right clicking and then clicking on copy it just pastes the original text from the website I got it from instead of copying the edited text. I even tried ctrl+ C and it still pasted the original text not copy the one I edited. Last resort- I re-edited my text and go to edit and click copy. Still no fix it just pastes the original text. For some reason photoshop is thinking that the copy option is a paste option. I have no idea why this is or how to fix this. This was not happening about an hour ago so I have no idea why this is happening. I even tried restarting my laptop and I even tried a test in a completely new photoshop document and it still does this. How do I fix this? I have photoshop CS4 currently installed. Help is appreciated.

I just started using Firefox, have used Thunderbird for a couple of years. Since using Firefox when I click on links in email they don't open. I have to copy the link then paste it to open.How do i fix this?

Maybe some one else can pipe up with a solution, but this would literally take 2 seconds to do for a new project. And you can create a "template project" that includes this "text" clip. Save this project and then to a get info and check "stationary pad." When you double click on this file, fcp will open with a copy of this project and you just need to do a save as.

but since I have to use hyperlinks in emails, Leopard can't print anything, and for some old software i use intermittently to deal with others less fortunate not to have upgraded with the new programs, I have to.
Had been pretty happy using a windows 2000 OS under parrallels, but poof, it went away. gone, nothing to indicate,that it had ever existed. So I am setting up my windows XP parrallels to replace it. One thing it won't do is copy and paste text or images between the windows and mac OS.
I used to use fusion, and I recall the copy and paste worked there pretty well, but it crashed upon Leopard awaking, no fixing it.
There's got to be a solution, simple or store bought out there to integrate the simplest things like copy and paste, but I don't know what it is.

its just so random the things that can copy and paste between the 2 systems. But mixing Operating systems seems the only way to get some programs to work correctly, especially when CS3 is concerned. as a workaround, if one program i want to paste something in to doesn't work, just open some unrelated program and copy and paste from there. Why can't they all just get along?

Why can't I copy and paste from word into websites?

I have been accepted as a writer for 3 online publishers, but cannot copy and paste examples of my work from Word into their websites. The clipboard behaviour seems erratic - sometimes I can copy text from websites and paste into Word, sometimes not.
Can somebody help? It is vital that I am able to supply examples of my written work without having to physically re-type everything or send the examples as attachments.

Copy and paste from word to InDesign - foreign characters

Hello,
I have a Word file using foreign typefaces, Chinese, Korean etc. I have the fonts on my machine because the word document shows them OK..but, if I try to copy and paste the text into InDesign, those characters either don't show at all, or you just get the pink color with the little gray squares...Does anyone out there have any tips for how to handle this type of situation.

Ooooh, okay. I retract my finger-waggling cautionary statement.
It could be one of a number of different things. I almost always place instead of copy/paste, but I don't have any difficulty copying & pasting complex script text of any sort in any of my various versions and platforms. I'd figure that there are two different possible routes - either there's something about the styling or clipboard that is doing this (meaning that it could be unpacked exactly the same way as any font drop, no complex-script knowledge necessary) or there's something about the non-Latin text itself that is causing the problem. Take a look at the clipboard settings (Edit -> Preferences -> Clipboard Handling) to see if changing those settings resolves the issue, by e.g. changing the settings to raw text.
If that doesn't work, I'd suggest posting a lot more detail. Platform, versions of Word and Indy, the particular fonts that are failing, a description of how styles are set up in the current Word and Indy docs, perhaps a sample of the Word and Indy docs zipped up and made available for testing (e.g. if I can successfully copy/paste into the doc when your user can't, then there's something wrong with the user's install), and so on. Without that kind of information, the best I can do is take random guesses.
