I have a new 2005 Windows HP that quits after 1 minute every time.

Off subject, I know, sorry,bt it's a media Center Hewlett Packard m376n Intel P4 w/HyperThreading.
I've had the P4 chip replaced with others and still,it'll shut down after approx. 1 minute after booting up.Never fail. I paid for a HP plan that repairs it in my home. They wouldn't honor it, and I wouldn't budge! (There were more parts to piece together,I'd have never figured it out any other way)remotes, video out to TV, etc.etc. 1/8 pin to 9 point RS232C plugs galore,IR remotes, receivers, etc.
Never had it running yet, any guesses? I hate Windows and HP!

Sorry for the OFF Topic question, I didn't need the comments ThankYou and thanks for the possible helpful answer.I went to check for a start up screen code, and found the entire Hard Drive missing completely, and only that, nothing else out of place. Gotta love it. I was injured at the search and rescue at Ground Zero, been off work with my 9th back operation June '10. I live in the most rural county in NY state,(oneida) I really have to play stupid just to maintain. Love the new laws.State police wont even take a report, not that I tried recently. Experience. I've lived and worked all over the world as a Construction Site Superintendent. I worked 1000 hours on that pile, now I'm a test subject for kids with new toys. I read the "new laws" or the PA,so I'll play the game, and hush until I write a book on my last 10 yrs. in central NY.
