Realize that purchased ringtones can only be downloaded once. You will have to either get them off your computer or your old phone (or buy them again).

Have a new 2GB shuffle. How can I get this to work on my iMac G4
Alas I am in the category of OS X 10.4.11 and I only have a 800Mhz processor and reading the minimum requirements for 10.5 of 867Mhz, it would seem that I cannot upgrade. It this correct?
Do you know where I can get the latest iTunes that my OS supports.
Would the latest shuffle work on this version of iTunes.
Currently only have iTunes 4.

in the right side, to open the iTunes download; that is way too new of a
version for your computer configuration as-it-is.... iTunes 10.

If you choose an older version (I have iTunes 8.2.1 in one Mac OS X 10.4.11
and iTunes 9.2 in another; plus iTunes 10.1 in a Mac OS X 10.5.8) than 10,
it probably won't support the new iPod Shuffle.

You may be able to get OS X 10.5 to work, providing the computer could be tricked
into working with the Leopard 10.5 retail DVD install disc; there were a few ways of
doing so, as published online. A search could yield more, some very similar...

Whether you can redownload music depends upon what country that you in. If you are using your computer's iTunes then does music show in the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page (on your phone you might be able to redownload media via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app) ? If music shows there, but not that album, then check to see if it's hidden : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919
If you aren't in a country when you can redownload music and it's still on your phone then you should be able to copy it over from the phone via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases. -
I have multiple album titles of the same name with different artists. How can I get them to go under one album title again?
In iTunes(on a Mac or PC) just tap on 'Albums' rather than 'Artists' and you'll see them all together.
You may find that there are songs mislabelled. In which case right tap on the Album or Artist and tap 'Get Info', then change to the correct name and the songs will join the rest of the songs for that Artist or Album.
Then resync with your iPhone and all will be well. -

Your iPod touch is not actually authorized to anything other than the computer you sync it with; it is not authorized with the iTunes store the way your computer is. Giving your iPod to someone else won't give them your store info. Once they plug it into their own iTunes, it will force them to erase the whole thing in order to sync it with their own computer.
If you want to wipe the thing clean before giving it to them, plug it into your computer and choose the option to Restore it. (Or on the device itself, to go Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.) -

When opening a pdf document in Adobe Reader the font of the original document is changed....It becomes a mix of the original font and a new different font. How can i fix this
This issue occurs with most of the PDFs that I open up. I am using the latest version of adobe reader on my windows based machine and it is a general PDF. I saw a similar post online stating that if you look at the fonts used in the document and it doesn't say (Embedded) next to it, then Adobe Reader will try to pull the font(s) from your computer and if it doesn't find that font then it will replace it which makes it look funny.

Try updating it on your computer. If you get a message that your iPhone is up to date then you actually have an iPhone 4, not a 4s.

If you have synced your phone with a computer connect to that computer and you can back it up without the passcode. If you have not synced to a computer there is no way to recover data without the passcode.

The voicemail system used for the iPhone is different from the voicemail system used on the rest of the Verizon Wireless network. When you activate the iPhone, you lose your saved voicemails from the other system. When you activate a non-iphone, you lose any saved voicemails from the iPhone voicemail system too.

Only way to get it back is to restore your phone from a backup, if those pics were included in that backup.
But most likely those pics are gone.
What you should've done was import http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 the pics to your computer and after you restored from your old backup, you could sync those new pics to your phone via itunes.
