If you are trying to configure your Mac to use SMS continuity with your iPhone, then please follow the directions below to configure SMS Continuity.
To use Continuity for SMS and MMS with your iPhone and your Mac, iPad or iPod touch
Your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch need to use iOS 8.1, and your Mac needs to use OS X Yosemite.
Sign in to iMessage on your iPhone, your other iOS devices, and your Mac using the same Apple ID.
On your iPhone:
Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive > You Can Be Reached By, and add a check to both your phone number and email address.
Go to Messages > Text Message Forwarding, and enable the device(s) you would like to forward messages to.
Your Mac, iPad, or iPod touch will display a code. Enter this code on your iPhone to verify the SMS feature.

You can't do that in AirPlay Mirroring. AirPlay Mirroring can only mirror your MacBook's display, so you can't do one thing in your Mac's display and another in the TV.

If you bought/paid for them in the Mac App Store, you would just need to sign in to the MAS with the Apple ID you used to purchase them, go to purchases, and click install.
As for the limited licensing that Bordy brought up, the TOS for the MAS states:
"Apps from the Mac App Store may be used on any Macs that you own or control for your personal use."
If you installed them from an iWork disc, just pop the disc back in and reinstall.

i have a sony vx2000 and a macbook pro and i obtained the 9 to 4 inch firewall cable. my issue is that cant get any footage from my vx2000 to my imovies. i have looked up how to do it online and they make seem like you just plug it in and go its all golden. but not for me what am i doing wrong it does seem to be recoginize that my camera is even plugged in and no way letting import of capture any of my footage to my imovies. please help

The camera must be plugged in to AC power (not batteries only). And generally, the camera should be set to Play mode, not recording mode.

Hi, My desktop pc died recently. That was the computer that I used for my Itunes purchases. I have recently purchased a Macbook pro and tried to transfer info from the dead pc hard drive to my mac,how do I sync without losing apps?

When i try to sync my Iphone on my macbook pro I am told that I will lose any apps previously purchased while I was using a since crashed pc harddrive. I have authorized my macbook as a second computer but am not able to sync. Is there a way I can transfer my apps from my phone onto the macbook and then sync with my family members phones on the same account?

On the MacBook launch iTunes.

Did you buy from the App Store? When you downloaded Aperture from the App Store, you only need to sign into the App Store with the Apple ID you used to buy Aperture and to download it to your Mac Book Pro from the "Purchased" tab at the App Store. Your licence covers the installation on all your Macs for private purposes.
If you bought a licence key from the Apple Store, not the App Store, copy the installer you downloaded to your Mac Book Pro and run it there. Then unlock Aperture with your licence key.

You should have invested in another Windows machine if your intention was to continue to use CS5.5. Platform swaps are only supported for the most recent release which is currently CS6. You can confirm this by reviewing the policy thru the following link:

It is no longer bundled with Macs.
Do you have an old copy that came with a previous Mac? If not, you can look for an old copy of iLife '11 in the Stores. Make sure it indicates it has iDVD.
Also note that while iMovie (newest version) is no longer integrated with iDVD, you can still export movies from iMovie and import them into iDVD.
Other people have suggeted using Toast.
