Hi Friends!!
I have a problem and I need your help guys. I was wondering if there is any tool I can use to minimize my Data Base troubles. I work with 3 DataBases (Oracle, DB2, SQLServer) and I have to re-write almost all my SQL code 3 times. I think I could use XML and XSLT and make some magic like the Java magic of "Write once, runs anywhere". Does anyone know what I have to do to solve my problem ??

Another question if I may,
I am looking for a general tool (using JDBC) to extract data from a genral data base (I need inofmrix, oracle, sqlserver, db2 and more) into xml file. I need it to be an effecient also and not create DOM documents. Do you know about a tool like this (maybe an open source?).

i m new to adobe captivate4 using first time... i need to insert a swf movie into adobe captivate 4 and have to generate scorm file for my elearning project... i am able to insert swf files... i inserted 10 swf file in 10 different file the problem here is... When i look preview in Brower it comes in right way it means all slides running one after another but when i happen to see preview in "project" when the first slide runs all other slides also start running.. for example first slide runs for 10s actual(20s movie) when i select second slide 10sec of movie already passed (it should start from first).. Its giving me great trouble to to finish my project... plz help me with solution to finish my project.........

acording to that script, why doesn't it print "home" although you = home ? please help me, thanks.

This is not a problem with JSP but with core java:
'you' is a reference to the object you created:
String you=request.getParameter("you");"home" is a reference to the another String object.
Because these references aren't the same you'll never receive 'true' when comparing:
if ( you == "home" ){The '==' operator DOESN'T compares strings' values. It just compares references.
Once again:
String a = "a text";
String b = a;
if (a==b) // this gives 'true'
But:
String a = "a text";
String b = "a text";
if (a==b) // this gives 'false' because a and b aren't the same object.
// they just have the same value and that's the difference.
Try with 'equals' method:
if (you.equals("home"))
That works !!!

i install some new themes on my memory card,but after some of them i find that the new theme that i install remove some older theme?
is there any limit for installing themesinstall about 25 themes)
and i can't install the older theme again.

I want to make a chatroom using jsp, and have some problem, Help!

I want to build a chatroom using jsp and client using plain html, so i need every client could have a constant connection with the web server and will receive messages realtime. But i got 2 problems.
First, how can i turn my buffers off so that messages can get to the client the time it is meant to be. I added
<@page buffer="none">
but seems that it takes no effect, any tricks here? thx
Second, I want every user could have a constant conn. with server but i dont want my server to waste resources on those connection that has already been disconnected.so is it possible to stop executing JSP pages once client has diconnected.Since i found that it will throw no exception writing to the client even if the connection is disconnected in JSPs.

If your iPod is set to update automatically you need to take care connecting to an empty iTunes. You can use a keyboard command to prevent your iPod auto-syncing with iTunes. While connecting the iPod to the computer on Windows with iTunes 7 installed hold down the Control and Alt keys (or Shift + Ctrl keys in older versions). This will stop the iPod from auto-syncing with iTunes and the iPod will appear in the source list. Wait until you are sure the iPod has mounted, and that it will not auto sync and then you can let the keys go. Whichever of these retrieval methods you choose, keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync. I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up in case you have problems again. Relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these days you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay.

You just use the jar tool that comes with your sdk and to make it self-running u simply place i line like:
Main-Class: yourclassname
but don't add a .class extension to your main class name

Have you verified that it is the headphone jack that is the problem by trying opther sets of headphones?
Have you tried cleaning the jack by using a QTip or similar ite?
If you confirmed that the headphone jack is the problem Apple will ony exchange the iPod for $99, $149 or $1999 depending upon the capacity.
A third-party place like the following is less expensive. Google for other places.

are you saying that when you connect your MacBook Pro to a monitor, your Internet connection slows down, but when you disconnect the monitor, it speeds up again, and that this is reproducible from one day to another?
Does this happen both under OS X and under Windows 7, or only under one of them?
