I have a purchased version of Adobe CS6 and when I chose to update it unfortunately I got Adobe cloud photoshop which overwrites all my settings I can't access my photos etc without using this version even if I close it and start up CS6 it still goes to

What version of iPhoto do you have? If you're on 10.5 then you're not running the latest iPhoto
Any chance that the library was opened with another version?

Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

From a time machine backup? No. If you mean just a regular file stored on there? Not directly. There are a couple of apps out there where you can indirectly get to a file but it's a pain. If you have need of accessing a file both from the mac and the iPad then I suggest DropBox. You get 2GB free and it's a good way to share information between machines and devices.

I installed iLife '09 on 12/17 and was able to use iPhoto up until last night when all of a sudden it said "The Photo Library needs to be upgraded to work with this version of iPhoto" so I clicked "upgrade" and received the following message:

How can I access a database remote without using dblink, synonyms,aliases?
My store procedure access a remote tables using dblink, synonyms, alias, but by business company requirenments I nedd to use another data base access method. My PL/SQL statement looks like

Are any method else to connect to several remote databases concurrently?

It would be exceptionally odd for the business to require that you access a remote database and to prohibit the use of database links. What is the business reason for that combination?
If you want to look into rather more esoteric solutions, you could load a JDBC driver for the remote database, write a Java stored procedure that queries the remote table using that JDBC driver, and then cobble together some PL/SQL that joins the two result sets. You won't be able to reference the remote table in SQL and the solution won't scale well as data volumes increase and you'll be writing a whole lot of code to manually join tables together, but it does avoid database links. Of course, whatever concerns lead to the ban on database links would probably apply to loading a JDBC driver into the database and writing Java stored procedures to access the remote database, but since you haven't explained the reasoning behind the restrictions, we're just guessing.

My iPhone 4 siezed/froze during an upgrade. How can I back up and then reset?
I'm fairly certain this is expected behavior if you have a CDMA carrier like Verizon or Sprint. The phone cannot handle being on a call and using data to receive messages or email.

When I try to install Lion it tell's me "You can't use this version of the application install mac os x Lion with this version of Mac os X" even though I have the latest update 10.5.8 of Mac os X?

I have just updated to OS X 10.9 and now find that I can't open Aperture to access photos etc, message reads : You can't use this version of the application "Aperture" with this version of OS X. Please quit and use the latest version of iphoto." I wouldn't have a clue as to how to change to a new version of iphoto even if I wanted to.
If you don't have a backup you can resort to give this a try:
Starting over from scratch with new library
Start over with a new library and import the Originals (iPhoto 09 and earlier) or the Masters (iPhoto 11) folder from your original library as follows:
1. Open the library package like this.
2. Launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and, when asked, select the option to create a new library.
3. Drag the subfolders of the Originals (iPhoto 09 and earlier) or the Masters (iPhoto 11) folder from the open iPhoto Library package into the open iPhoto window a few at a time.
This will create a new library with the same Events (but not necessarily the same Event names) as the original library but will not keep the metadata, albums, books slideshows and other projects.
Note: your current library will be left untouched for further attempts at a fix if so desired.

Thanks.Ok, here is what I would do for that situation. I would back up all your photos on a memory stick, then create a new photo library and re-upload all the photos to the new library. If iphoto wont let you even copy your photos, you should just schedule an appointment at the genius bar. This has never happened to me, but if it did this is what I would be attempting.

Adobe won't be developing for 10.5.8 new features (including new runtime) only security relates updates for existing runtimes (Flash 10.3.*/Air 2.7.*). Flash 11/Air 3.0 are only supported on 10.6.8.*/10.7.*, see:

her email is in user>Library>Mail folder. Hopefully you've created another user on your Mac for your mother so she would have her own user Library.
