As note already on the iBA forum [ AppleID for ibooks publishing ], you need two IDs. You can't use your developer ID.
If you already signed up for books with that ID, you need to talk to Apple to straighten things out.

The AirPlay feature is only available whe you have an Apple Tv. You can mirror the display form your iPad if the iPad and Apple Tv are both connected to the same WPA (or the same Wi-Fi). Air Drop is a way of sharing files, such as pictures, PDFs, and text documents. Hope this helps.

hi, i bought a irig to connect my guitar on my macbook pro 2012, but when i use the irig in my mac, it doesnt recognize, so i cant choose it on preferences of sound, what can i do? (the sound of my guitar goes by IRIG but I can not hear due to feedback and when I try to record another track on the garageband, the sounds recorded on the new track is catching the sound of another track recorded)
Turn the internal mic level off. Use headphones as monitors.

When trying to edit a text message on my iphone5 the edit bubble will pop up but it is non responsive for about thirty seconds before it will respond to the key functions. It just lags behind. Has anyone else had this problem and if so is there a fix?
I rarely record automation, and when I do I never do a second pass (usually hand draw automation in) but I have had problems with Logic 7 no longer playing back automation. I've been told its fixed in Logic 8, but in the mean time here is a work around.
Select the region where the automation is (if there is no region, create one using the pencil tool and expand it to cover all automation) and go OPTIONS menu -> TRACK AUTOMATION -> "Move current track data to region data." Now everything should play back as expected. If you want to edit the data, simply select "move current region data to track data" and edit away.
For some reason, Logic 7 will sometimes stop reading track automation data, but I have yet to have it stop reading region automation. This is a bug, and according to other users, has been fixed in Logic 8. Hope this helps until we eventually upgrade -

I am trying to set up family sharing for my wife and me. I have a Macbook pro (running OS X Yosemite 10.10.1) and an iPhone 6. My wife has an iPad 2 and an iPhone 4s. All software is up to date. Currently we have one Apple ID which has both of our email addresses. Do I need to delete one of the email addresses and open up a new apple account with that email address? Will we lose anything if we do that?

Because there are only two of you, the solution that I may recommend for sharing content would be to use one Apple ID (the one you already have) for iTunes and App Store purchases between both of you. This will allow the both of you have access to the same purchased content. If you would like to have different Contacts, Calendars, etc., you can create a second Apple ID for use with iCloud. This will allow you both to have separate iCloud information but still have access to all purchased content from iTunes and the App Store.

You can use different Apple IDs for iCloud and Store purchases and still get all of the benefits of iCloud.

Ok, Ive had no problems with iTunes up until now, when I borrowed a friend's Green Day CD, and I burned the 13 songs on it onto my computer (but not through iTunes). I can listen to them perfectly fine on WMP and other ones, but I cant on iTunes, and I cant put them into my library. The format that they have is .mp3, but they just wont seem to go into the library. In fact, theyre the ONLY songs that I cant put into my library. Theyre not protected (at least, I dont think they are), so I cant see what the problem is.
Could somebody tell me whats going wrong with it?

if you make a cd yourself of the tracks using WMP or another media player, then use iTunes to import the tracks from the cd you just burned, that should work. otherwise, you'll have to borrow the cd again and use iTunes to import it into your iTunes library. hope that helps -
As I Said..I just wondered if it was possible to upgrade my software without having to connect my mac to the net..I have never connected it as a precaution against any nasties.It seems that i have been sent a password protected PDf with a link to the MAC APP Store..but you can only access the mac app store if you have a mac connected to the web. any ideas..?

if connecting that specific Mac to the web is an issue, what you will need, anyway, is another Mac computer with OS X 10.6.8 so you can start the Mac App Store in order to download the Lion installer.
On that second computer, you can copy the Lion installer on a USB stick or other storage solution, and then copy the installer on the Mac-you-cannot-connect-to-the-internet .
You could even burn a Lion install DVD from the installer. More info about this here

You cannot run Mac OS X on a Windows machine. You need a Mac to run Mac OS.

Basically the subject says it all. I do not have any apple products. I do have an apple ID but apple wont let me set up an icloud account without any apple products. I was invited to view a shared calender by an Apple user that I NEED to be able to view. It is a private, invite-only calender. Apparently apple wont let me view this shared calender without an iCloud account (even though I still have an apple ID regular account). I cannot set up an iCloud account without a Mac or an iOS products, which I do not own. This is ridiculous but there has to be a work around. Any suggestions?
I would love to setup an iCloud ID. Trust me, I would love nothing more. Apple wont let me without an Apple device.

This is a typical response from the manufacturer. Did you try the fix that Lawrence mentioned. When Apple or any other phone manufacturer update phone software, they have the latest Bluetooth installed. It is usually the problem with the radio manufacturer that they devices are using the older Bluetooth protocols. You can try this support document http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3581 and see if anything there helps, but generally it requires the radio manufacturer to update their firmware.
