Go to Window > Properties to open it back up, or hit Ctrl +F3.

You have the files on your computer? If so, then just get them back into iTunes and sync them back onto your iPad. You can use the books part of iTUnes, or if you reader app has a data transfer option, use that to sync them back onto your device.

My "deleted" email is supposed to go into a holding area where I then have a second chance to save or delete for good. I use this method to temporarily save my current files while redirecting the older files to another account, then putting the "deleted" files back into the active account. When I did this the last time all the files were deleted permanently and I want to know why. How do I make sure this won't happen again? Because of this, I now have lost at LEAST $50.00 in pending rebates and over payments that were pending.
I have read a lot of suggestions concerning my problem, the thing is I don't have the option of Re-downloading and in the file menu when I get my library options I don't even have the option of backing up my movie, music, apps, and I don'tt have the Purchased option under my quick links for some unknown reason. Open itunes store Click "Purchased" under "Quick Links", simply does not work for me. I certainly would like to contact itunes support who would kindly granted me a one time re-download of my purchased music. But then don't answer my cry for help, so again I am stuck with nothing after I bought over 1000.00 dollars worth of movies, music, apps and I don' t have acces to any of it. Identity Safe is a part of Norton and it keeps your login info safe. There was a little icon in the toolbar of the last version of FF and it's gone now.
I'm not sure if this Norton piece considered a plugin or extension but I use it throughout the day.Yea, they say they will have it done by '''MAY'''!
Guess I'll just have to turn my computer off for 2 months while I wait.
What other Add-ons don't work? It sure would have been nice to know BEFORE I updated. -

If the device has been used as designed then the pictures taken with the device would be regularly copied off the device to a computer as would be done with any digital camera.
For what reason would anyone attempt an update without first ensuring that their data was safe and backed up?

Did you fail to import your photos before updating? If so, then they are likely gone. You can try restoring from backup. If that fails then they are gone. You should regularly import photos to your computer, most especially before any update.
Did you fail to transfer any purchases on iphone ( that were not on your computer) to your computer before updating? If so, then you will have to redownload:

Whether you can redownload music depends upon what country that you in. If you are using your computer's iTunes then does music show in the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page (on your phone you might be able to redownload media via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app) ? If music shows there, but not that album, then check to see if it's hidden : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919
If you aren't in a country when you can redownload music and it's still on your phone then you should be able to copy it over from the phone via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases.
