I have done a course in photography with my canon eos 1000D and have taught me to handle the raw camera , but not to install and funciione with .cr2 photos. I downloaded the trial version of photoshop cs2 and installed the latest camera raw ( 8.7) and even so will not let me open it. I tried to update photoshop with updates and has not served .

Unfortunately your software pre-dates the camera. But it is possible to download and install the free DNG converter to convert your raw files to the Adobe universal Raw format and the files will open in all versions of Photoshop. DNG is just like CR2 with no loss of quality. (keep your originals as backups and for use in the camera manufactures software)

I have Photoshop CS5. When I tried to edit my images in raw I received an error message stating, "The photoshop camera raw plug-in did not recognize the format. If these files are from a camera, you may need to update your camera raw plug in."
In researching the issue I read that to edit in raw you need a camera model requirement of at least 7.3 which only works with CS6. My version of CS5 is 6.0.0.205. Being new to all this I see that my options are to upgrade to CS6 or convert by using DNG converter and paying a monthly fee. That is correct. Your camera was first supported by Camera Raw 7.3. Camera Raw 7.3 will not work with CS5. You need CS6 or CC.

It all depends on your preferred workflow and your budget.
Using the DNG converter is free. There is no monthly fee. You use the converter to convert all Raw files from the EOS 6D to DNGs then edit the DNGs in CS5. That's an extra step every time - every photo. Some people don't like the extra step. Others don't mind.

- Reset All Settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings)
- Restore from backup. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766 (If you don't have a backup, make one now, then skip to the next step.)
- Restore as new device. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137 For this step, do not re-download ANYTHING, and do not sign into your Apple ID.
- Test the issue after each step. If the last one does not resolve the issue, it is likely a hardware problem.

Go to iTunes Settings, on the Devices tab you will see a list of all available backups. If you don't see the one you're looking for there it doesn't exist to restore your phone to it. Also, if you want to prevent iTunes from syncing automatically you can check "Prevent...from syncing automatically" on the Devices preferences screen.
If you do see the backup you are trying to restore to listed here, you should be able to right-click on the name of your phone and select it to restore from. When you right-click on your phone you should see these choices, where "iPhone" is the name of your phone:

Looks as if you're just at the minimum specs - http://www.apple.com/logicpro/specs/. Says 2GB minimum, 4GB recommended. And 2GB of RAM is all the RAM the 1,1 can handle. If I were you I would call Apple's App Store service center - you have the minimum requirements, as I read it, but perhaps you need a faster processor?
I had a 1,1 but sold it when I bought my late 2011 in March of this year - maybe it's time to look at a new machine?

Thanks for your response, I was able to open bridge from File-Browse in Bridge. This worked, but was not able to go back to the way I always opened Bridge. At least I could get to Bridge and go into Camera Raw. I never tried to open Bridge from the Start menu. The odd thing about this is, it has happened before, and to get it "unstuck" and working again, I would shut down and restart again in a few minutes, and things would go back to normal. This time it did not go back to normal after several attempts. I shut down for about 3-4 hours, restarted, and it seems to be back to normal again. I am not sure if it's a problem that is getting worse each time it happens. And yes I am using Mini Bridge in photoshop CS5. Thank you for your help. Dan

The 5D Mark II was first supported by Camera Raw 5.2 which is compatible with CS4+.
The 5D Mark III was first supported by Camera Raw 6.7 and 7.1 which is only compatible with CS5 and CS6.
So the CS4 will never be able to open Raw 5D Mark III files.

You would only save about 500MB by deleting MS 2.1.3. You may find it useful to keep the application, or perhaps to make a zip and then delete the original

I suspect you have a 2G iPod. Those can only go to iOS 4.2.1.

I then decided to try and reload the Canon printer drivers and for some silly reason I deleted the existing Canon printer drive. Now I cannot load them from the CD provided with the printer or from downloads through the Apple store. If anyone out there could help me I would be greatly appreciated......

These Canon printer/scanner drivers from Apple - http://support.apple.com/kb/DL899 - should work. The MP250 is listed on the support page. Try downloading and installing them.
