the machine with the network problem, check the device manager and see if its showing a yellow exlamation
if its yellow, then the driver is damaged
if not then there is something else wrong

Could you provide me with a model and product number of your notebook.

What i consider doing is the section that says "Reinstalling the original webcam program that came with your computer".

HP has not shipped discs with systems for many years, instead you are supposed to create your own set when you first start using the PC when new, but you cannot now since the recovery partition is empty.

All content from iTunes is tied to the account that downloaded it, so the id that shows when trying to download updates should be the account that 'owns' that app. Do you recognise the id that is showing e.g. has anybody else downloaded or synced content to your iPad ?

Okay, so I Right Click and nothing says "Link Media".
When I double click on an asset it says, "the selected file cannot be linked because it has 2 audio channel(s) and the clip was created with 1 audio channel(s)."
However 1 video clip asset does open in CS4.

Ok mate no need to talk to me like im a complete idiot, and no it is not on silent im not that stupid. There is a message pop up on my screen saying 'this accessory is not optimized for this iPhone' and underneith 'you may experience noise caused by cellular interference and a decrease in cellular signal strength' and under that only one option to press which says dismiss. I cant find anything in my settings or applications and have tried resetting my phone 3 times and still nothing only plays ringtones ever now and then wont play music from ipod, youtube or other applications.

I am having problems with my HP Pavilion 17 Notebook PC (Windows 7 Ultimate x64) Intially Windows 8 was installed but I got windows 7ultimate for it and now I'm missing the drivers for it.
I don't know how to fix this problem, I have tried everything. I downloaded an program called DeviceDocter and it downloaded the thing but then an error saying. Your system does not meet the miniumum requirements for this update. Update has been cancelled. (9996). It says AMD USB Controller Driver. It should work on my computer since it's Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Please help me fix my ports. Just my 2 ports on my left side of the computer isn't working. The right side of the computer port is working.Thanks for the help, but I found the program to fix it. After searching for hours. I have FF set to check for but do not install updates. When I start yahoo email, FF automatically instals updates. I am only user/administartor. How do I make this stop? It is messing up other programs - destroyed my Norton security.
Usually, the "notify" setting works fine. I don't know whether having Yahoo as the home page makes a difference. ??

I have a HP dv2117tx notebook and my display isn't working. The computer swithes on fine but the display isn't working at all. The display started experiencing problems a few months ago with intermitent lines on the screen. The frequency of the lines increased in the last month and now, the display isn't showing anything.

I understand your display has stopped working on your dv2 notebook.
First we should figure out if the issue is with the display or the GPU. Connecting a VGA display would be the ideal way to do this. If the VGA display works, the notebook screen is the problem. If the VGA display doesn't work chances are the GPU has failed which means a motherboard replacement.
If the VGA display works you could try reconnecting the display and inverter cables. Unfortunately I can't seem to find the service guide to give you the exact steps to do this. This could be due to the age of the product or that a service guide was not issued.
You can try contacting HP Phone Support for service but the age of the notebook will have an effect on the available replacement parts. You can contact HP Technical Support at 1-800-474-6836 in North America. For all other regions click here. Your best bet might be to take the notebook to a local shop who should have the ability to diagnose the display and give you a quote for repair.

im having problems with my gaming headset mic not working and its because of the drivers, but the drivers from hp site are from 2011-05-06 there has to be a newer one but i cant find it can anyone help or have an other ideas that might work
also its a HP Pavilion dv6-6144ca running windows 7 64bitRight click the audio options in the notifications area of your task bar.
Select "Recording Devices."
If you do not see your mic, right click the dialog box select "Show Disabled Devices."
If it shows up, right click on the device and select "Enable."

we are about 4 minutes into editing a video for the first time on final cut pro x 10.1. everything was going very smoothly, but then it started freezing up. I had to do a hard reset and took it into the computer store that actually installed final cut for us. they suggested that our mac actually is not capable of keeping up with final cut. (I FIND THIS HARD TO BELIEVE!!) We work on an IMAC 2.66 ghz intel core 2 duo. 8 gb 1067 mhz ddr3. software os x 10.9.1 (hopefully that info will help for your suggestions) Because we have soooooooooooo many hours of high def video, we are working off of two external hard drives.... is this a problem?? or do we really need to upgrade our computer?????Like Russ said, check Activity Monitor and see what else is running and turn off any Applications that aren't needed.
Turn off wi-fi or disconnect the wire that goes to the Internet
Turn off Background Rendering (if you see an orange line on the top of the time line that moves along and gets shorter while you're not doing anything that is a good sign that Background Rendering is running.
I haven't used 10.1 yest but on the previous version there was a small circle approximately in the middle of the screen, about 1/2-inch or 1 cm in diameter, and it would have a number inside. The number is the percent complete of what is hapening. When it is Rendering the percentage will be shown.
Basically, you probably need to free up resources.
For what it is worth, my previous Mac Pro was a 1,1 2.66 machine, also with 8GB of, I think, 667 memory, and it would process FCPX 10.0.9 okay. It did have an upgraded video card, though. -

Something prevents your computer from update. Most times it is your security software, try to disable it first and then download. Make sure your download started from the beginning (don't use old download) and verify that you downloading correct version of itunes (32 or 64 bit)

I put a CD into Itunes to burn it and when it brought up no track names I realsied I had lost my connection.
So took the CD out, reconnected, made sure the right box was ticked in preferences and tried again.
Nothing.
It's like it's 'remembering' the data from the first time I put the CD in.

I assume that you mean that the apps are in "waiting" mode or something similar to that. you did not say that you were getting any error messages.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.
You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your app preferences and device settings again.
