I have installed Lightroom 5.6 on my Mac, but now it is asking for a serial number, and I only have a serial number from LR 4; how do I find the necessary number?

I have installed Lightroom 5.6 as an upgrade but am unable to proceed because it wants a serial number; how do I attain the needed serial number?

No, I did not have to purchase the upgrade. But here is what I believe my
error was: earlier today, I upgraded to LR 5.6 on my laptop. Then I
upgraded to the same on my desktop, but became confused and installed it
TWICE.
Is this the reason that Adobe is asking me to license Lightroom and to come
up with a serial number? (I have my serial # from LR4, but it does not do.)
Should I try to deactivate LR 5 and then try again to upgrade to it?
Or am I still confused and need to purchase the LR 5.6 upgrade? Thanks for

How do I find the model number on my keyboard? I have an anodised aluminium (short with no numeric pad on it) keyboard that came with my iMac that I bought in 2009, and I am wanting to find out what model it is.

Many of the Apple keyboards have the model number on the underside, often in very tiny grey print that is really, really hard to read
You can also go to the Apple symbol in the top left corner of your screen, drop down to About this Mac, then click more Info and navigate to the the hardware information about the interfacing equipment.
If you have your original order information from purchase, it may list each item you received with model/part number.

Do you meant he serial number? If so, click the Apple Menu  then click: About This Mac. You will see Mac O S X. Under that click where you see: Version 10.x.x, then click one more time to see the serial number.
You can also view this information by launching the System Profiler (Applications/Utilties)
On the left under Contents select Hardware. The serial number will be displayed on the right.
Just out of curiosity, how is knowing the serial number going to help trouble shoot this MacBook ??

Use "array size" (array palette) followed by "multiply array elements" (numeric palette)
(Works also equally well for 3D arrays and higher)
For a 1D array, just use "array size".

The Photos app will not show you the actual file name of the photo. However when you go through the image import process on your computer, you should be able to see both the thumbnail of the photo, as well as the filename of the image.

How do I find the phone number to cancel this thing? I was told I could also cancel by going to the subscription manager but I can't find that either.

I would very much appreciate it as I've found no other way to do it as the website links just take us in circles and we can't find any other info as to contacts. Since the program does not work with our very old word version as far as I can tell, and we can't afford to update that, it really doesn't help us. We are a small animal rescue with limited resources so also can't afford to waste money on something that does not do us any good, so we were hoping to cancel fast enough to get our payment refunded as it states in the terms of agreement, within 30 days. Depending on the version of Mac OS X: click the apple left side of the menu bar, About This Mac, More Info some versions skip this, System Report, Hardware, and then see what it shows for the Model Identifier - that will say Model IdentifieriMac with a number such as 8,1 or something of that form.
You can use that to find out the details about the machine by going to http://www.everymac.com and go to the iMacs and then some quick checks on the years to find the match for your Model Identifier.

I turned my phone on this morning and instead of the pattern lock that I've been using with this phone since I purchased it, it is now asking for a PIN that I do not know.
I contacted Samsung but they told me that my carrier would be able to reset the PIN for me remotely. I've been trying to find a way to chat with Verizon support but it keeps sending me to self help troubleshooting. It was so easy to get a live person on Samsung support, how do I get a real person on Verizon?
