On your iPhone you need to change your password in 2 places:
- Incoming Mail Server and
- Outgoing Mail Server
To get to the password entry for the Outgoing Mail Server you have to tap on cell smtp.live.com and again on the second view.

When I'm at my home, and on my Wifi, my 4G icon on my LG G2 is still present. No big deal. If the bits can flow via WiFi, that's what they'll do.
You might try (if you really MUST shut off the cellular radio):
Settings, Network Connections and More networks. Select Mobile Networks and uncheck Mobile data and data roaming.
Not sure if that will work - but give it a try.

You can do it by manually managing music and videos. See:

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar.
To sync to your iPod go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod....>Sync You Device>Set up Syncing>Sync your device manually and follow the instructions

I notice you are looking for solutions other than restoring, the article does outline how you can use iCloud's Find My iPhone:
If you have Find My iPhone enabled, you can use Remote Wipe to erase the contents of your device. If you have been using iCloud to back up, you may be able to restore the most recent backup to reset the passcode after the device has been erased.

I think that the message is telling you that you need a newer version of the iOS on your iPod. If the computer has iTunes 10.5 installed then your iPod is maxed out.

But it sounds like you purchaed the iPhone from Craigslist, and are being asked for the original owner's Apple ID and password, and cannot supply that information.

Icloud wont let me keep selected song on my phone, only at random. How can I change that?

If you're using iTunes Match, you can download an entire Artist or Playlist by selecing it, the tapping the download symbol (cloud with downward point arrow). It appears at the top for an artist, and the bottom for a playlist.
Or, you can turn off iTunes Match on your device, sync the music to it using iTunes, then turn iTunes Match Back on.
