My tip is to go to the nearest Apple Store and make a appointment with one Genius Bar agent.
Of course, they will not replace the phone for you but they will repair it if you pay for it.
The warranty does not apply on cracked screens, caused by the user.

I purchased a Genuine Apple iPhone Lightening Cable from the Phone Shop I got my iPhone from after the one I got with my phone broke, it has broke due to no fault of my own and it's the 4th one I have had, will Apple replace the cable for free or not?

If you can't remember your passcode, you'll have to restore it to remove the passcode, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212.
If you're running iOS 7 with Fid My iPod enabled, in order to restore it you'll have to force it into recovery mode as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808, or erased it using Find My iPhone on icloud.com if your home button isn't working (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmfc0ef36f). -

Will Apple replace my Ipod Touch 5g, Even if its over a year old?
I have an iPod touch 5g, which i bought in January of 2013. This iPod has been malfunctioning for a couple of days now. I connect it to a power source since it indicates its low on battery. When I do, it turns on, however, it will not charge much and the battery will continue to be red on the top right hand corner of the screen. I have an app which helps indicate around how much battery the iPod has. This app says that the iPod never charges past 15% and if i disconnect it, it shuts down. If the problem is in the battery, and it's a hardware problem, will Apple replace my iPod? Can they still do it? It is over a year old, but after all, i paid for a product that would last longer than a year and a half, didn't I?
You no longer have warranty coverage. Whatever Apple will do you will have to pay for it since it is out of warranty.

I purchased my MacBook Air July of 2011. Approximately four months later the adapter stopped working. I brought my MacBook and the adapter to the Genius bar. The adapter was replaced because it was under warranty. To make sure the problem was not something I did as I didn’t want to duplicate, I inquired and was told some adapters just have problems. After two weeks, I noticed the rubber coating to the wire bunched up on the L end that connects to the MacBook Air on the replacement adapter. I returned to the store and was assured that my concern was unwarranted and that since the adapter was working fine I was fine and that if it stopped working I could just return it. On 11/22/12 it was not getting power. I returned to the store. After being asked where I returned the adapter when I originally had the problem (same store) I was informed that the replacement adapter was only covered for three months, to be happy it lasted as long as it did, and I would need to buy a new one for $61. However, the store didn’t have the adapter I needed and could buy the 60W adapter for $79. I was told I could go up, just not down. Before leaving, however, I asked if I was doing something wrong with the adapter and how long the new one was covered for. He inspected the nonworking adapter, pointed at the where the wire connects to the base and said no, usually people have their cords pulled from here but yours looks fine. On the plus side, the rubber coating around the wire of the new adapter appears thicker with no chance of sliding and bunching up. Glad Apple fixed this issue. -

Very fair indeed. Notice the word "confidential"? Do you want Apple to give to anyone the personal details details contained on their data base? Including yours? Supposing I were to make a malicious call to Apple to report that the iPod you rightfully own was stolen from me and they gave me all your personal details. Would you be happy with that that? I suspect not. Supposing they then made use of the serial number to block the use of the iPod on your computer every time you connected it? Happy with that? No, me either. That kind of system would be open to all kinds of abuse. And what about the 1000's of stolen iPods that must find their way on to eBay every year? Should Apple track those also?

There's a very easy solution. Don't lose it. You really think that Apple has nothing better to do than keep track of lost/stolen iPods? That's the job of law enforcement, not Apple.
I do sympathize with your loss, and know how upset you must be, but it is unreasonable to lay the blame at Apple's door. If you report the loss to the Police, and they recover it, then Apple will liaise with them to return it to it's rightful owner. That is all you can rightfully expect. -
Ipod touch automatically sets off HOME button
hi, I accidentally spilled water and got a little bit on my ipod. Afterwards, I noticed that after I charge it, the ipod would automatically hit the home button.
When I'm playing a game or have an app opened, it would close because it sets off the home button.
when I press the top button, it would sometimes take a picture because it's holding the home button.
When I leave it in lockscreen and screen off, the screen would automatically turn on.
1. Is there anyway to fix this? or to disable the home button when I'm in game.
2. Also, can I send it in for repair? The earbuds jack doesn't show any red from water spillage.
Thx, any insights would be appreciated.also, when i put it near my static-y shorts, it sets off the home button.
