The itunes store relies on certain components of safari, regardless of if you use it or not.

Make sure all of the videos used in the project that is having that problem are from the same event. If they are from multiple events, move them all into one event.

Hello, I believe i am using iphoto'11 on a macbook pro and have not been able to ever use iphoto. everytime i open it, it says "Your photo library is either in use by another application or has become unreadable". I have tried opening iphoto while holding command + option but anything i choose just gives me the same message. please help!
Probably nothing. Things happen and it sounds like one happened to you somehow. This is why you must always have good backups. Sooner or later something will screw things up and a good back is the free pass to recover

NOTE: To view the developer guides, save and uncompress the entire .zip file to your local drive and then open it. Otherwise, if you open the zip files directly from the browser, you will see "The Address is not Valid" error. If you are opening a .chm file, clear the Always ask before opening this file check box in the Open File dialog box.

I'm not sure I understand your question. When you download the CHM file and unzip it you should just be able to double click on it to open it.
If you're seeing the "web page can not be displayed" error when trying to view the contents of the CHM file then this means the CHM content is being blocked. This is because of a Microsoft security patch that affects all CHM files. See [Microsoft Kbase 902225|http://support.microsoft.com/kb/902225/] for the solution to unblocking the content.
If this is not what you're referring to can you clarify your issue?

I have drop box, have used ibook and still looking for a solution. I have a number of PDF documents, some one page, some multiple pages in both landscape and portrait format. I would like an app that I can easily place multiple PDFs into it and show case them like a presentation or slide deck. Is there an easy app that is like a hybrid of drop box and keynote?

Quicktime attachments marked MV will not open ion my MacBook Air. I have Quicktime 7 and Quicktime Pro installed. I caled Apple Tec support and they were unable to solve the problem. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Click on one of those files, then go to Get Info in Finder: select what application should open such files.

Can someone please help me? I am having trouble activating my iPhone.
I attach my iPhone to my computer through the USB and the cradle. iTunes opens fine and it shows my iPhone. When the iPhone window opens I get the following error. This is usually the type of message you get when you have NO internet connection. It can also happen if the site that you are trying to contact is experiencing troubles or is just to busy at the time. Are you sure your connection is working properly? -
Cannot and have never been able to connect to a testing server

I am using Dreamweaver and am trying to set up a testing site using IIS. I can’t get it set up. It says I don’t have administrative privileges. I am the administrator. This is a home computer and I am the only user of the computer. I am just a novice.
I posted my problem in an Adobe forum. I was told to enter a command in the administrator command because I am not an administrator (this made me scratch my head???). The following is what I was told to enter:
icacls %systemdrive%\inetpub /grant %userdomain%\%username%:(OI)(CI)(F) /grant %userdomain%\%username%:F
it does not work and says there is no command for” icasis” I am not sure what I need to enter, however. For system drive I put “C”. For user name I put the name of my computer. For user name I put my user name.
This is what I ended up with and this is what I put in the administrators command prompt:
icacls %C%\inetpub /grant %Joe-II%\%jtb%:(OI)(CI)(F) /grant %Joe-II%\%jtb%:F
I am sure this is wrong.
In addition, in properties of inetpub wwwroot it says I have read and write for both administrator and iis_iusrs privilages (I set it up following a DW tutorial).
So why can’t I set up testing server on iis? This problem has gone on for years. I have newer versions of Adobe and operating systems and I have never been able to set up a testing server. By the way, this is windows 8 professional.
Any help would be much appreciated. I would even pay someone to solve my problem but don’t know where I would go to do this.

I sympathize, as I had a lot of trouble trying to set up a localhost server on a Win8 computer. Experienced many false starts. Finally got it working to the extent I could actually work on a WP site locally, but the set up is still weird in that when I uploaded all the new files to make them live, nothing updated. Ended up making all the changes again to the live site.

thanksYou are probably running OS 10.4 or 10.5 on a PPC Mac. No version of iTunes higher than 10.6.3 is available for these older Macs. I have the same problem, and while I can still use the PPC to sync my iPod, it can't be used to sync an iPhone 4 or higher. The only solution, as I discovered after upgrading to the iPhone 4, is to buy a newer Mac. I was able to get a 2006 MacBook running Lion for under $300, and that has been a lifesaver.

I'm sorry you are having issues with the iMovie app you purchased for your iPhone5.
The first thing I would suggest is to log out of your iTunes Account on your iPhone, turn the iPhone off and then on again, and see if app finishes downloading/updating.
Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Tap on your Apple ID account > Tap Sign Out
If the issues persists, the article below will give you a few more troubleshooting steps:

Try the following steps to resolve your issue, testing the app after each step.
1. Update your device software
Update your device to the latest version of iOS.
2. Check for app updates
Ensure that your apps are up to date:

My iPad has been stolen. Someone broke into my house on Tuesday. I have already tried locking it through icloud. I have reported this to the authorities but they cannot do much unless I give them the serial number to the iPad. With the serial number they can put it into a database and send that inormation to pawn shops, so i the theie tries to pawn it, the pawn shop employeee can convscate the iPad and hand it over to the authorites.
