Hi , a similar thing happened to me with another piece of software .. it was then that I realized I have two accounts .. I have no recollection of setting up two but it seems I did somewhere along the line.. I have jimkells and the second is [email protected] .. so when I logged in as the other acc there it was and I was able to update .. could it be FCPX was bought on another user account ??

Using IBook, I can't seem to figure out how to insert a blank page inbetween pages that are already set up, like if you want to add some pictures or something. Anyone have any tips on this? Thanks, Mark
To enable the form to be signed in Reader you will need to open the form in Acrobat; goto Advanced>Enable Usage Rights and then save this copy of the form for sending out to the users.
The user should then be able to edit and digitally sign the form. They can then email the signed/saved pdf as a browsed for attachment or via the email icon in the toolbar. Note - if you have created an email submit button on the form, then unless they have Acrobat they could only return an xml file.
The other way to do this however is to create a dataset by 'distributing' the form. This time the Email Return button will send back a full version of the form. During the distribution setup you will have the option to email the form directly or to save it and send it later,so you can send to users as and when or even post it to a website or intranet.
When you receive and open the returned form it will ask whether you want to add it to the predetermined dataset (or if you want to categorise the returns into geographical areas for example, you could create new additional datasets at this point). If the form is data heavy however, the dataset will become very large and unwieldy pretty quickly, but you can export the data from it (including signatures) in xml format and import this into an Excel spreadsheet.
To simplify the Excel xml import process I'd recommend you carefully structure your form in the hierarchy (LiveCycle) into the order you would want the data items to appear in your spreadsheet and switch off those data items that you will not need by setting the default binding for the irrelevant fields to "None".

They download sucessfuly and then goes to my download folder on my computer, from there I double click on the file and photoshop opens and then nothing happens, any ideas? I am using a PC

Can anyone help me figure out how to sync my ipod with my purchased music? I have used several computer and at one point synced my ipod with a computer that only had about half of my music. My other computers are no longer working. Not sure how to get my purchased music back onto my ipod?

Your previous purchases are saved on iCloud even if you bought them on another computer. If you can't find them on your current computer, you might need to unhide them. Go to iTunes preferences, and click on Store Preferences. Then click the box for "show iTunes in the Cloud purchases". Then click on OK, and everything you've ever bought from iTunes on that Apple ID will show up in your library. You will need to download them from iCloud first before you can synch them to your iPod Classic. To do this, click on the little cloud with the arrow in it next to your song, and it will download to your computer. When you have the music that you want downloaded, plug in your iPod and synch away. Hope this helps!

The Olympus Stylus 1 was first supported in Camera Raw 8.3 which is only compatible with CS6 and CC.
It is not compatible with CS5 or older and never will be.
If you do not want to upgrade to CS6 or CC then you can dwonload the free Adobe DNG converter, convert all Stylus 1 Raw files to DNGs then edit the DNGs in CS5.

Can someone please just help me figure out how to update this stupid phone(iPhone 4)without losing anything? I somehow have more than one Apple ID on this,but I just want my music and my pictures to stay and I'm terrified of losing these things. Photostream Issue - I have had several phones over the years all backing up via iCloud/Photostream. It seems that the oldest of my photos and videos are simply gone and I cannot seem to figure out how to get access to them. Why is this happening? Is there anything I can do to get them back? I'm freaked out by the thought that I am paying for what I thought was a safe place for my photos to be stored and accessed later but now see that there are nearly 500 pictures/videos gone from my photostream folder. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. - Michael

Photo Stream is not a respository for archiving photos. It is a cloud storage device that will store the last month or last 1000 photos taken by any device on the same Apple ID, and then will "share" those photos with all other devices that have Photo Stream turned on,and that are logged onto the same Apple ID.
iCloud backups will contain all of the photos that were on your camera roll the last time you backed up your device.
If you have photos outside of the Photo Stream parameters, and they are not all on your current camera roll, then you have no way to retrieve them unless you have imported them to the computer you sync with or have uploaded them to some other cloud service like DropBox.

I made a website, but have now deleted it in order to take it down. However, after deleting it, the website is still online? Can anyone help me figure out how to remove the site completely?
The site is joehewett.uk and I am worried that now I do not have the files of the website I cannot remove it?
James.Did you delete the files from your Remote server?
Deleting the local site folder or the site definition in DW will have no effect on your remote site.
When I go to your URL, I see the index.html page with 16 code errors and this background image:

So the site is still online until you delete those files from your server.

My daughter is using old round airport at college. I set it up originally without password protection because my macbook was too new to recognize the old style airport. I have an old iBook and I understand I can use that to set the passsword. But I can't seem to figure out even using the Airport admin how to establish a password. Any suggestions? Thanks.
If it even has that built-in, you would configure it using Airport Utility. It would likely be in the Wireless configuration for first turning on security and then setting the required password. For Macs you should use WPA Personal if the option is present.

I updated my Apple ID but my I Cloud account still has my old ID and I can not figure out how to update it
Welcome to the Apple Community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
When you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again. -
Running CS6 on a Macbook. Can anyone help me figure out how to record audio that is streaming on the Macbook? Under "Audio Hardware," my input choices are "Built in Mic" and "Built in Input." Neither does this.

I am sure this has been asked before for similar new camera buyers, but as I have made a sizeable investment in purchasing PS 5 less than one year ago, I expect ADOBE to have an upgrade available for my new Nikon D7100 camera.
Other Software makers usually have upgrades available to download for new cameras not long after they are released.
I have seen on some photography forums where other users of my camera model have asked the same question as myself without receiving any positive advice other than to up grade to PS 6. A few suggestions do not work or are possibly illegal.
Under consumer laws, in many countries, software makers are obliged to maintain support for a reasonable period of time after release.
Come on Adobe, please help the many thousands of PS 5 and Lightroom users to use the Adobe software that they have purchased in good faith and we will move to PS 6 or 7 or 8 when we are ready.

Why did you purchase an obsolete version? One year ago Photoshop CS6 had already been out a while.

This is a user to user Forum, so you are not really addressing Adobe here, even though some Adobe employees thankfully have been dropping by.
Adobe is not in the habit of adding support for new cameras to obsolete versions of Camera Raw.
But it offers the free DNG Converter.

And camera makers are free to adopt DNG if they want to make their cameras’ output easily editable with non-proprietary software, but it seems many of them simply don’t want that.
