Unfortunately, no. the CS programs are platform specific. You have three options. Upgrade to CS6 and request a platform swap, in which case you will give up the Windows serial number. Second, you could buy a second serial number for Mac outright. Third, you can buy the subscription to Photoshop CC, which can be used on both Windows and Macintosh..

You used the data. Verizon can not see what it was sued for. Nothing personal to you or Rajshee, but this is exactly why I absolutely despise these "community forums" (not just Adobe but any company). I called the Tech Support phone line today after digging and digging for a phone number, and they told me the exact opposite, and they did it a lot faster than it was possible to get a forum response. (That's really not personal, because you can't control that, but it's a fact.)
Their answer: As long as I'm signed in with the same ID, I can try, say, Photoshop CC on my iMac at home and also try Acrobat Pro CC on my Windows 7 machine at work. Same account, same login, one trial.
This makes complete sense to me as I'm financially on the hook (potentially) for the same package. If I give away my login to someone else, which I wouldn't do, I'm still on the hook. This is why the cloud approach to software is such genius and I applaud it.
BTW, 99% of the "community forum" wrong answers come on Microsoft sites, so don't feel bad.

Hi, How do I export HDR photos made on a macpro with photoshop cs5 onto a flashdrive so they can be imported correctly into a windows machine that doesn't have photoshop installed on it? Already exported to a HP flashdrive but they do not even show up on a windows machine. Need that capabillity since this is for commercial printing. My wife's mac laptop only shows 3/4 of the picture the rest is grayed out. Adobe support claims it is a Apple problem. Love the finger pointing and hold me blameless atitude on their part. Told them creating a picture should be like gas that can be used in anybody's car, just not their Adobe equipped ferrari. Do I need to convert the file struture so it can be read by the window machine? How would I do that ? Any comments appreciated. Doug

I certainly wouldn't expect to read native PS CS5 files with all features intact and supported on a machine that doesn't have CS5 installed. Try saving the files as flattened (no layers) TIFFs before moving them to the flash drive and trying to open them on the Windoze box.

When I attempt to download I am told that my os is no longer supported. Now i know that I could find an offline version and should be able to get it installed but im not sure of a safe site that provides the iso or install exe. Michaelt65951582 I am sorry but you will need to run at least the minimum operating system to use Photoshop. You can find the system requirements at System requirements | Photoshop. I would recommend upgrading to Windows 7 or later. You may find that your computer can support the more recent operating system depending upon the hardware installed.

How can I get Photoshop Elements 7 for Mac? (Have a license key for Windows from before)

I have an installation CD for Photoshop Elements that I used on my old PC. I was satisfied and content with that product and as I got a new computer I wanted to use the program there. Here's to my problem:
I don't have a disk drive on the new computer and can therefore not install the program from disk. Second problem is that when I go online to find the program to download instead I realize that there's no version 7 for Mac, only for Windows if I understand it correctly?
I don't feel that I want to buy a new version just to get it working on my computer and I'll use iPhoto if it doesn't work to install. It would however be really nice if I would be able to use it.

You cannot. CS3 is too old to swap platforms from Windows to Mac.
Your choices are to buy CS6 (full version), join the Cloud or buy Photoshop Elements 12 for Mac.

I am having the same problem. I did download the two files and started the .exe file. The .exe file appears to run downloading files. When the bar is full the window dissapears without any options. Both files are in the same folder. any thoughts?

Nope. Not unless you are on the subscription model, that is. Before the Cloud subscriptions, Photoshop licenses were strictly platform specific. You could ask for a platform swatch, but that involves signing a letter of destruction of the Windows versions.

I did try to uninstall and reinstall. It messed up my computer. I had to "RESTORE" from the prior days backup. This was not helpful at all. I'm used to losing all my stuff when I connect to iTunes, that's a whole other issue, but now I'm completely banned from any updates to my phone at all. Geeze.......
