I have recently upgraded to Maverick and when the Macbook rebooted I got a message saying the HHD Disck was corrupt and to return the unit to store, this unit is 6 moths old

The laptop was set to auto upgrade or decided to download Maverick and when prompted to reboot it failed to come back on. It simply displayed a message saying that the HDD was corrupt and the unit should be returned to the Apple Store.

Thanks for the reply, the macbook won't boot up past the message on screen so I can't reload an older OS system or delete or for that matter do anything with it?
