I have renewed my membership via prepaid card. Why does it still say that my membership is expired and not letting me use any applications?

I had a year long prepaid subscription that was up in August. I bought another prepaid subscription (student edition), and I renewed online. However, my account still has not registered that I have renewed, and I cannot access any of my applications. When looking at the account settings/manage account menu, my account reads that I have a subscription to be renewed August 2015, as if I have renewed and everything. But, my bill does not register that I have paid for it. My desktop add-on also does not register that I have renewed. If I go to renew again, a message prompts that this card has already been redeemed (which I did back in August). How to I get my account to register that I do have a subscription!?

    I have just checked your account and found that you indeed have bought a Creative Cloud for Teams subscription but you have assigned the single seat to another user hence you ( If you are using your own Adobe ID ) are getting the trial error message.
    Two options : Either reassign the seat to your self or add an additional seat and invite your self in the same Team.

    Do not worry about the backups.  They will be deleted automatically after a week, or if your HD gets too full.  See #30 in Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions.
    The "other" stuff is just that -- all sorts of things that don't fall into the few categories listed.  The operating system, system work files, plus lots of your stuff like documents, mail, etc.  See Lion's Storage Display

  • I have an error message that won't go away and stops me from using any other buttons in the screen.

    I have an error message reading 'item over 1 byte. Connect to a wifi network or use iTunes on your computer to download 'tv show'.
    When I connect it to iTunes or use a wifi network nothing changes.  The warning remains in place no matter how many times I push 'ok'.  iTunes actually says the show is already fully downloaded.
    I can't use any other button or controls because the only thing responding is the 'ok' button on the error message.
    I've now given up and am just trying to exhaust the battery.  What a joke.  This device is only a week old.
    Anyone else with a suggestion on how to make the error message go away? I'm worried this will happen again.

    Try this.
    Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

  • I have a Creative Cloud license through ETLA, why does Lightroom mobile say I'm on a 30-day trial?

    The Creative Cloud license also does not appear on my Adobe ID for some reason.

    It seems that having Creative Cloud through an ETLA only provides access to the CC set of software but not all the services that are provided by Creative Cloud "Membership".
    For instance, it doesn't look like you get:
    Online storage is "Customized" per account as opposed to 20GB for Individual and 100GB for Team (http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/buying-guide-at-a-glance.html)
    And "services" are also a custom solution that is negotiated between your company and the Adobe account rep.
    The "services" are the bit that would make Ligthroom Mobile work correctly, I believe.
    I'm in the same boat, by the way. When I log into the Creative Cloud website, it shows that I have the free plan eventhough the company I work for has an ETLA for Creative Cloud. We just have access to the software, not the services provided in a different type of Creative Cloud membership.

    This is so frustrating. For a while now its been syncing automatically no matter my efforts. I finally checked the Sync manually option.
    My iPhone is filled to capacity, but i want more music. So i deleted a good 100 songs straight off my iPhone. Next time i plugged in my iphone to my computer a notification pops up telling me that "60 songs were unable to transfer." It doesnt allow me to trasnfer songs now due to overcapacity. And a bunch of song titles on my iPhone are now faded out, meaning they couldnt transfer due to a lack of space?
    It's so annoying, please help.

    There's no way to delete all message threads at one go. You can however do one contact thread at a time.
    In Messages app where you see a list of messages from different contacts,  tap Edit (top left), tap the red (on the left), then tap the red Delete button on the right.

    We are fellow users here on these user-to-user public forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple - I've asked the hosts to remove the card details from your post, but if you read this post within 15 minutes of your original posting time then you should be able to edit your post yourself. But as people subscribe to these forums you may find that your card gets emptied.

    On your iPad tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account  - that should give you a payments link on your account's page. Or on your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should also be a payment link.

    I was receiving the same error message yesterday, which said There was a problem downloading "The Song Name / Album / Artist". The file seems to be corrupted. To redownload the file, choose "Check for Available Downloads" from the Store menu. The file tries to download five times before this error message appears.
    I too, tried to find the file and delete it, but it was no where to be found.
    So I gave up for that moment and tried again today and I was able to successfully download the file. Amazing how that works!!!
