I have tried everything suggested to get rid of the "Open a new tab" search page.

I just bought a new computer with Windows7. I downloaded and installed Firefox 18.0.1 about a week ago.
I am trying to get the history icon page to open when I click the "Open a new tab".
Some of the things I've tried (like resetting Firefox and installing the add-on) worked but only until I shut down.
When I load Firefox again, that pesky search page ("Open a new tab") is back.
How can I get the history icon page to stay permanently from day to day?

I have a 2 windows 7 pc. The one at work does not make a annoying sound when I open a tab but my new dell makes the noise. If it has to make a noise I will stop using firefox. Please let me know how to proceed.

When you open a new tab it lists the previous websites down below that you could click on to go to right away.
When you click a new tab there is a settings key on the upper left that if you choose ENHANCED or CLASSIC I believe that is where you get the annoying noise. If you choose Blank then the noise does not sound.

How do I get rid of the totally useless AVG Secure Search page?

I used to be able to open Firefox and there were all the icond at the top.
NOW, all I get is this STUPID AVG SEcure Search, which occupies all the page. I can no longer get to my bookmarks and this has slowed down my workload considerably.
I understand it was an add-on or extension put out by Firefox but without telling me the disaster that lay ahead.
What I require is a simple way of removing this blot. avgssie.dll?

Since I have upgraded to iOS 7 messages on my ipad will not send. I get a red message saying not delivered I have tried everything suggested so far, still nothing.

I'm having the same problem with my Wife's old iPhone 3G. It's battery went completely dead and now all it does when I hit the power button is shows the screen that shows the animated charger/battery saying to plug it into a charger and then it shuts off. The thing is, it's plugged into a charger, I've tried several, I've tried getting into DFU mode to restore 4.2.1 and see if that would help but I can't get into DFU mode because the iPhone shuts off before it gets a chance to load I suppose.
If I find a solution that works to get the iPhone out of this quirk/bug mode it's in right now from the battery dying, I will post it here so you can fix your iPhone as well.
Best of luck with finding your solution to fix this! We're both probably going to need it because so far I've searched for the answer for the past hour and still can't get it to even start charging.

Please read this post then provide some details. What operating system? Are there any error messages on the printer or computer screen? Will the printer properly make copies?
Do print jobs go through the motions of printing but pages come out blank?

Sorry, I updated another thread I was a part of but didn't update my own thread.....ughhh!
I updated all of my ATV 2's and 3's to the latest firmware when it was released and have been problem free since. I do believe the major issue of not being able to connect after a period of inactivity has been corrected with the latest ATV firmware.
I can look at my network connection table using "netstat -an" in a CMD window and I do not see the massive number of connections I saw before the update.

I had that happen with a MacBook. It turned out that the metal case above the slot was slightly bent down.
Putting a flat blade screwdriver in the slot and gently twisting it to move the metal case up allowed it to eject. Don't put it in too far you only want to bend the case not the drive.
The case can get bent down by picking it up with your thumb pressing down on the case above the slot.

Don't drag them, import them from Media.

How do I get rid of the “Or click New to create a new user” on the centre pane of the portal screen when you go to "Users"?
My client doesn't allow users to create new users so this needs to be removed, but I can't find where it's configured.

Did you ever figure out how to do this. I have looked everywhere.. I see in the code it is just a seb-text element, but I cannot find the source file that contains this.
