I installed iCloud on my iPod, however, did not transfer my playlist.

I installed iCloud on my iPod as well as my iPad. It transferred everything to my iPad but it neglected to transfer the playlist to my iPod. Does anyone have a solution. I went to the Apple Store and a technician made a recommendation but that did not work. Thanking you in advance.

Ipod touch did not prompt to enter apple id password when installing an application.

I tried to do a restore and tried using creating another apple id. But still the ipod touch did not prompt me to enter apple id password and immediately proceed to install the application. How to solve this? Please help .....

Im in the same boat, started a thread . My hands free system worked fine with iOS 8 out of the box new iphone 6. Did the update this morning and i can stream music perfectly fine however i cannot make or receive calls through hands free system.
I have not tried resetting the settings like most people indicate is working. I feel like I shouldn't have to reset anything, even less mess with settings with an update coming from apple. it should "Just Work"
Some people who reset said it works for a few hours, other say it don't work, and I don't know what I should do.

You have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPad on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iPad when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. I recently purchased a 4S. I now have 2 files in my iCloud both with my name. One from my 3gs and one from my 4S. The problem is the data history of all my games and 3rd party apps did not transfer over to my 4S. Is there a way to merge the two in icloud?

Assuming you have finished with your old backup.....
You can see what your iCloud storage is used for and delete any unwanted content at settings > iCloud > backup & storage > manage......

For what the Apple Store's charge you can buy almost buy a new computer.
Just for giggles I brought my old laptop in for a drive upgrade and asked, they wanted $600 for a drive that only cost $120 at the time and it was a slow 5,400 RPM drive. The new Mac's of a similar make were going for $1000.
I did the drive replacement myself, got a faster drive of better quality for $300 instead.

The same RAM is on Crucial.com for $90 and all I need is a 00 micro phillips screwdriver.

I think what you should do, if your out of warranty/AppleCare, is to call up the local PC tech guy who also does Mac's and have them fix you right up.
They can offer more personalized care which you need. Clone your old drive to the new and everything.
With Apple they are overworked at the Genius Bar and just place roadblocks so you buy a new machine instead.
For instance, all new iMac's now have proprietary drive software installed on the hard drives for heat monitoring. So now the only choice a user has is to bring their iMac into a Apple Store for a very expensive drive upgrade, which a person then decides the money is better spent buying a new machine.

Do you recall what you did? if you remove an extension through the Add-ons page or use Firefox's Reset feature, normally your passwords are preserved. Not sure what else would have been recommended.

Adobe applications should be installed, not transferred. If yoiu have the disks then yes, use them. IF you do not you can download from:

Your first theory may be correct.
If you haven't already, change your password on your .mac account. That will stop any further action by the other fellow. Even if you can't tease out the detail of what happened exactly, you can at least fix the problem with the password change.
Also if you left on good terms, contact the new owner of the workMac and ask if s/he used your .mac account.
