I just bought anothe macbook and tried to add it to my home share but got a message about too many devises. How do I deauthorize machine I no longer have as I am sure some of those I threw out had itunes?

You'll have to log in to your iTunes account. On the Account Information page click on the 'Deauthorize All' button. You will have to re-authorize all the computers you presently want to associate with the iTunes account. (See screen shot below.)
In the future, to avoid having to deauthorize all and then re-authorize, select 'Deauthorize This Computer…' from the 'Store' menu on the computer you no longer want to use with the iTunes account.

It's not normal, presuming that the movie downloaded completely, but it has come up from time to time. I've not been able to figure out from the various posts why rentals work for most but in some cases insist on a connection to the iTunes store. Go here:

to report the issue to the iTunes Store. Perhaps they can provide an explanation, though you may just get canned and rather inapplicable replies about how to rent or download.

I just bought a macbook pro which worked amazingly the first few days. But now it runs worse than my old computers. How can I fix this?

I've barely had it for a week and its starting to run slow. Wepages take forever to load and its impossible top watch any videos online. I am connected wirelessly. My other much older laptop is working fine on this connection and for a few days my Macbook Pro was lightning fast. Now it runs slower than my 3 year old laptop. Also some videos tend to get choppy when I move the mouse. The audio, however, continues uninterrupted. The laptop also started taking some time to shut down. I bought this open-box from Bestbuy. And right now Im realizing that this is actually a Macbook Pro Mid 2010 after looking up the specs which is strange as the box it was in says 2012.

Memory: 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 288 MB
Software OS X Lion 10.7.3
Macbook HD: 731.83 GB free out of 749.3 GB.
Could the problem be that this is a 2010 laptop? I can still return it as its been a week.
I've cleared the cache, cookies, and history but it has little effect on the way videos and pages load.

Where did you buy this laptop? I know if I opened a box expecing and having paid for a 2012 model and found a 2010 model, I'd be back at the store demanding an exchange quicker than you could imagine. Open box or not, if you thought you were buying a 2012 model, you should get what you paid for.

Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..

I am so sorry I am frustrating you. This is the first time I have used this community and am leanring as I go. I am not able to see the entire post that you leave, unless I look at it on my phone (email)--I am so sorry. You have no idea how much i appreciate your help. Yes, I see that I can get the later version of OS software, but its not availabe for immediate download. My only options appear to be having it shipped, or going to the store to purchase. If you look at the top left of your screen you will either see a 3G (or 4G if you have AT&T) or you will see the wi-fi symbol. If you don't see the wi-fi symbol you are connecting to Gmail through your cellular data plan, not via wi-fi.
To answer your question, it doesn't happen often but when it does the steps I mentioned above will normally resolve it. Hopefully you won't have any further problem with this.

I have an answer to my question. There is a bug in IOS8 that prevents third party applications to talk to the Health Application. Apple is trying to fix it ASAP

I ordered a movie on iTunes back in April, the movie didn't finish downloading, I got a message that there was an error, so a few days later, I downloaded it again. This time I used my husbands bank card, which has a different number, but is connected to our joint checking account. I noticed the duplicate charge for the one movie.
