I just bought my first Ipod and i have a QUESTION can anybody pliz answer ?

Ok so i have like 30 videos in my imac that i have purchased from itunes. I moved all of my videos to my ipod the first day i bought it. So here's my question...i already have all the videos in my ipod, If i erase them from my imac can i transfer them later from my ipod to my computer again or i can't do that ??? I just want to know that because i'm planning to buy more videos (as soon as Apple fixes Itunes) and i don't want to use that much memory from my imac......

The basic answer is no, (although I note what turingtest2 says - and tt2 is far wiser than me!)you cannot transfer music or videos from an iPod to iTunes. Other people can and probably will point you to software that helps you recover files lost from your computer but still on your iPod, so there is a way, but... (I'm not sure what that software is, someone else can post that info though)
The best way to manage your iPod (which you may already be using) is to use the Sync function which automatically manages the content of the iPod and is much less hassle (for you) and a better method than *Manually Manage your iPod* . But Sync relies on the vidoes and music being in your library _every time_ you Sync. If you remove/delete items from the library, Sync will also remove them from your iPod the next time.
Also, it is very unwise to delete purchased music or videos from your computer, leaving them only on your iPod. If you iPod fails, is dropped and therefore broken beyond use or stolen, you lose everything. The nature of an iPod, that is being carried around, stuffed in pockets and bags and a visual temptation for thieves means that it does happen.
Finally, there are occasions when an iPod may need to be Restored. I have not had to perform this on either of my iPods, but it does happen, so it's wise to assume that your iPod may need Restoring one day, and this procedure deletes everything from the iPod, seeting it back to factory settings. Having Restored an iPod, a new Sync will then automatically put all the content in your Library back on your iPod without you having to manually move each and every file yourself.
So my advice is don't delete the videos. Perhaps you could install an external hard drive to increase your storage, I assume that's easy with a iMAC.
