If the photos were in your camera roll when you last backed up, restoring the backup should recover them. Restoring an iCloud backup requires first erasing your phone. If you have any newer data on your phone since the backup that you want to keep, you'll need to save that first. Then go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, go through the setup screens on the phone and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup. Sign into your iCloud account and choose your last backup to restore to.
Make sure you phone is connected to wifi and your charger as this may take some time to finish.

As you are clearly aware, it is important for you to have backups of your important data, including all of these photos you are currently keeping on your iPhone. While it is possible to use iTunes or iCloud to do backups of your iPhone, the problem becomes how to access those backups if you have deleted the photos from your iPhone. Once you have done the backup and then removed the photos from the iPhone, the only way to access the photos is by restoring the backups to the phone. If you want to easily access the photos once they are off of the iPhone, another approach to this would be to import your photos from the iPhone into an application on your Mac, such as iPhoto. To learn how to do this, use the steps in this article -

I have backed up all my photos from my Camera Roll on my computer. I know wish to free up that space. It is 1300 photos. I do not have time to sit and tap through each moment and delete. Hi, I'm new on the forum. I decided to try this since Adobe phone support has been abysmal. I purchased Adobe Creative Cloud, installed and registered it on Feb. 25 2013. Since then my computer crashed and I lost the programs and the link to download. I still have the serial # and the product shows up in my account under Registered Products. How can I get a download link?

How to delete all my photos from my iphone for storage space

my photos are taking up a large portion of the storage on my phone...i've uploaded them to my computer and now i'd like to delete them all so i have more room for music. how can i delete them for good on my phone? is there any way to delete the following albums (or at least the pictures from the albums) : events from my mac, faces from my mac, and the last 12 months album. i just want to be able to put more music on my phone but my pictures are taking up more than half of the storage! please help

If you've synced photos to your iPhone through iTunes, change your sync settings in iTunes to not sync any photos and apply the change.
That will remove all synced photos, but not photos that you've taken with your iPhone's camera -- for those if you've imported them to your computer then to remove them you have to delete them one by one from the iPhone, or use your computer (assuming you have a Mac, iPhoto should allow you to select and delete what's stored on the iPhone, except for synced photos via iTunes).
Then there's iCloud photos. iCloud only holds the last 30 days of photos, but your device will continue to hold them up to the 1000 photo limit, regardless of how old they are. To reduce these, you can delete one by one, or if you Restore your iPhone that will strip off all iCloud photos, and add back only the last 30 days of iCloud photos, assuming you leave the Photo Stream setting ON in iCloud settings.

connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.

You can do it but you shouldn't. Time Machine deletes old backups when your Time Capsule gets full, so you will lose your iPhoto libraries and the pictures they have.
If you want, one thing you can do is to move the iPhoto library to another external disk, so you will get free space on the hard disk

Photos on your iPhone that were transferred from your computer via the iTunes sync process cannot be deleted direct from the iPhone. These photos are removed from your iPhone the same way - via the iTunes sync process.
Photos in the Camera Roll can be deleted direct from the iPhone. With the Camera Roll selected, select the icon at the top right. Select the photos you want to delete followed by selecting the Red delete button at the bottom right.

Looks like your syncing pics on your computer to your phone. to remove it when your phone is sync to itunes, uncheck sync in the photos tab.
