I just download IOS 7, and both my Instant msg screen and notes are in black

I just downloaded IOS 7 to my Ipad mini and I could just cry, it is horrible, my Instant Message, and notes appear on a white screen. Instant Msg, appear on black and white, and I can bearly see the notes that I have made, due to the fact the the background screen is so white. Is this the new look for the functions on the IOS 7 operating system? I have a Kindle Fire, and now this Ipad Mini, looks the same.

I have the same issue and didn't do a backup before I update to ios 7 so I can't go back. I even bought a bluetooth keybourd for my iPad to see if the app would recognize input from it...no such luck, I am enjoying the keyboard though. I think those of us who used Password pbooks have to except defeat, reset passwords that we don't remember, and buy a password management app like 1password or onesafe which allow backups to the cloud. I havent deleted the app from my iPad yet it's just too soon. I'm holding on to a tiny thread that the developers will update the app and it will show up in the app store again. If anyone has figured out how to get this app to recognize any keyboard or know how to contact the developers please let me know.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

If your battery doesn't charge, or if your device shows a low-battery image, black screen, or "accessory not supported" alert, follow these steps.
Inspect the connector at the bottom of the phone:
Make sure that there are no bent pins in the connector.
Make sure that the connector is free from debris.
If there are bent pins or debris, please contact Apple Support.
Otherwise, continue troubleshooting.
Make sure that the outlet you're using works.
Make sure that the Apple USB cable and Apple USB power adapter work.
Plug the device in to power and let it charge for up to 30 minutes. If you don't have an Apple USB power adapter, try connecting to a computer's high-power USB 2.0 port (not a keyboard). The computer must be on.
If the device still exhibits an issue, try turning your device off and then on again while connected to power.
If the issue is persists, please contact Apple Support.

Help! I just downloaded IOS 7, and had to download from itunes...however ow whe nI put in my password for my wifi connection...it doesn't accept it....how do I change the password? How do I access my wifi connection again????

My ipad was frozen, had to go to Itunes to restore it, after it was restored, I went to go on my wifi .....and it won't accept my password...nor will it allow me to make up a new psassword....now what do I do??

The correct password is printed on the route's label.
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

I have no idea what may have caused your MacBook to stop working, but from your description it kind of sounds like it may have started before you ran Software Update and installed the new Apps. Just the general slow feeling and bugginess is what tips me off. You said that you weren't sure if you had closed all open windows, that doesn't matter if the computer restarts itself. It automatically closes all other open applications when restarting.
As to your data being retrievable, if when you take it in they do a fresh install of the OS, then no, it will not be unless you want to pay several thousand dollars to a software retrieval company.
I am glad to hear that you have taken into the Apple Store to get it fixed, and that you have all of your purchased music backed up to your iPod. You should be able to just transfer it all back to iTunes once you get your computer back should it be necessary.
As a side note, the proper place for this topic would probably in the MacBook forums, not iTunes since there is no evidence that iTunes started the issue.

I saw that too right after the upgrade. I then connected the iphone to my MBP then did a sync and saw the Other go down to 1.5. What I noticed was that there was not an Orange bar for photos and the Other was huge but once I synced with the cable connected, it went back to normal. Hope that helps!
