You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option at the bottom of the screen of the iTunes app (or video app) on your iOS device. -

There are always a few problems with a new OS. Apple can't police every maker of crapware that's on the planet.
If you have a WD external drive, I would transfer (not clone) the files from it to another non-WD external drive that doesn't have crapware on it, and then erase the WD drive, and then never ever again buy a WD drive.
You will find many posts on the Apple Discussions from disgruntled narcissists (a few borderlines too) who blame Mavericks for their computer problems.
Mavericks is excellent (at least for me).
Every new OS has some incompatibilities with older software. That's why if someone is an early adopter, they should understand this, and if they have a low tolerance for frustration, or are uncomfortable with basic mac maintenance and troubleshooting, they should not be an early adopter.
Seems like the vast majority of problems that people complain about on the forums are related to crapware they have acquired on their computers from previous installations and promiscuous downloading habits. -

Place the iPod in Recovery Mode and restore via iTunes.

When I enter my password to purchase a song, I need to create new security questions. When I finish writing them out and I hit submit, a box comes up with the words: "An error has occurred. We could not save your changes." What does that mean and how do I make it go away?
Potentially the issue may be the combination of actual distance and the presence of any Wi-Fi interference at the location of the AirPort Express that may be the culprit here. The bottom line is you would want the Express to be within a 25+ dB range of the Extreme to be sure that it can consistently stay connected to it.

Upon opening CS4 on my iMac I get the message an unexpected and recoverable error has occurred because you do not have the necessary privileges...then PS Exits. I am running OS Mavericks. If I switch to another Admin user account, the problem does not persist and I can run CS 4 with no issue.
I am pasting the text below from the error report. Any help determining the issue would be great. I read a ton of threads about this, but it seems each person has had a different fix result. I have not gone the route of reinstalling OS, but will if needed.We just tried reinstalling Mavericks and it did not fix the problem. Tried uninstalling all Adobe CS4 and reinstalling again. There is an error report, but this thread will not let me post it without it saying it is SPAM

If you are updating via Settings>General>Software update then connect to your computer and update via iTunes
Otherwise what is the full wording of the error message? -

Each time I click on "sign in" , OR EVEN "create a new account", it keeps giving me a message to some effect of, "An error has occured, please try again later." It also includes some four or five digit number in parenthesis. I've tried to fix this but have no clue how to remove the error message and proceed. Can someone please give me a break-down of how to fix it? I need to redeem a gift card, and also obviously want to have access to purchase other items. Thanks.
For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now. They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.
