It really can take very long to import and process so many images - I would not dare to make a prediction.
Can you open the Activity Viewer?
From Aperture's main menu bar: Window > Show Activity.
This window will tell you the filename of the image that is currently being processed.
if you are seeing, that the import is still far from being finished, you might to pause certain tasks directly from this panel, like the generation of previews or scanning for faces. I'd let the import run, if you see that it is making progress.
Have you enabled very time-consuming options, like the generation of high resolution previes or scanning for faces and places? if yes, and the import is not making any progress at all, I'd disable thes options in the Aperture preferences for the initial import. You can add these later for the projects where you want to use these features.

Did you try a hard reset on the phone by holding the power button and the home button for more than 10 -15 seconds? Then try to make a call.

If the Settings app on your iPhone is not behaving correctly, first force close the application using this method:
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app's preview up to close it.

Just got my iPhone 5s at&t out of a blue screen boot loop how do i prevent this in the future?
My sister has had her iphone 5s at&t for a while. While using it would get stuck on the apple logo but would usually reboot and be fine within a minute. Today i just got stuck there and didn't go back to normal, so i decided to completely restore it (7.1.0) and after 10 tries of pluggin the usb in different ports and putting it in dfu and restore mode i finally got it to work. (9 of those tries it finished the restore then went into a blue screen and proceeded to show an apple logo with a loading bar that wouldn't move). Now i'm just holding on to it and probably going to take it to the apple store to get it replaced but it has no warrenty and im not prepared to pay 200 or more for a phone thats in perfect condition without a scratch(kidda stupid to charge a flat rate for every problem i understand if the phones glass is broken but for os problems). So is there any options i have rather than taking it to apple to stop this problem from happening.

Just got an iPhone 5s a few weeks back and it restarts!
My new IPhone 5s has suddenly restarted 3 times in a week and is currently taking long to turn on when I press the home button. What do I do? I have also never dropped it or damaged it in any way.
Did you set up this phone from a backup of your old phone? You can try restoring the phone as a new device, not from a backup and manually sync your content back. See if that helps, or you can make a backup of the device, make an appointment at the Genius Bar and have the hardware checked.

I just got an iphone 6. Not all of my music was on itunes, so I logged in and instead of clicking set up as new iphone I hit restore from backup, thinking it only pertained to the music in itunes. I just got tOhe iPhone 4Gs today and had contacts and photos uploaded from another phone synced new phone with iTunes for music and accidentally restored it so all my old iPhone stuff is on the new one is there any way to fix this ?! Please help !!!!

Hi. I just got the iPhone 6, plugged into itunes and made the mistake of putting an OLD back up on my new phone resulting in losing all contacts after 2013. They are not saved on the cloud. Is there any way to go back to before I screwed up?
If you have performed a sync with the device since you restored this old backup, then don't bother looking for another backup. iTunes writes over the last backup each time you sync. If you were handling contacts in iCloud, you would find them by logging into iCloud. Or you can check settings and iCloud and see if the button it on for Contacts. Otherwise it might have been on the computer, if you had a program that syncs with iTunes and handles contacts, depending on the computer system you use. If Windows, it would be Windows Contacts or Outlook. If a Mac, there is a Mac Address book as well.

Sorry to hear you are having issues with your new iPhone. If you are having issues receiving iMessage messages across your iPhone and your Mac, you may want to double-check that your phone number and your Apple ID are correctly linked and that all your contact addresses/numbers are set up, as outlined in the following article:
