Why is it not in itunes?
It should always be in itunes and included in your regular backup of your computer.

    Hi tak661_99m,
It sounds like you want to transfer music from your older iPod shuffle to iTunes and then sync it to the new iPod nano. Take a look at the article below for more information about transfering music from your device to iTunes. It sounds like there's something amiss with either your ID or the new system you're using.  I've been using iTM on a Win7 and OSX SL system and have been able to upload and download to the Cloud on both.  I've been using them interchangeably for the last week or so.
I would also recommennd giving Apple support a call, to see what they say.

    Yes you can buddy!!....
But those music should be downloaded from itunes only, or else you cannot transfer but you can do one thing
keep all your music files in one single folder in your computer and try enabling the "sync music" in itunes so that when you connect your Iphone 5 the entire music music comes into your new dedvice

  • How can I transfer the music from my computer to my iphone

How can I transfer the music from my computer to my iphone?
How can I detele the items that i have already added?

    Via the iTunes sync process.
And deleting music from your iPhone can be done the same way or if your iPhone 4 is running iOS 5, you can delete songs direct from the iPhone one at a time.

    Hi There
You can only transfer purchased music from your iPod to iTunes using iTunes. However there are third party utilities that you can use to retrieve your music, just do a google search or have a look on http://www.versiontracker.com
    Hope this helps

  • How can I transfer the music from an old ipod to an iphone 5c if I don't have the files in itunes anymore?

I have and old ipod and a new iphone 5C. I want to transfer the music from the ipod to the iphone. I could not do it in itunes. Need help. Thanks

Exact same way as razmee209 stated earlier. The sync process for the iPhones and iPods is one way from iTunes to the device, not the other way. The 3rd party software is the only solution if the music was not purchased via iTunes.
Simplest way is to transfer all your user data (inlcluding iTunes library) from old computer to new computer.

  • Hello, how can I transfer the music from my Ipod to the Itunes on my desktop?

As known my system crashed recently, so I have had to install everything again also Itunes.
Earlier all my music CD's were installed in the Itunes library, of course I did loose everything exept my purchases from the Itune store.
luckely all de music was also set on my Ipod. How can I export the music library from Ipod to my imac without performing a syncronisation which would make me loose the music tunes from my Ipod Touch.
thank you for helping me out

Unfortunately, iTunes doesn't give you the options to transfer non-purchased songs in the iTunes Store from an iPod to the iTunes library, so you have to use a third-party app.
One of the best apps you can use is Senuti, and it's the one I prefer > http://www.fadingred.com/senuti/ You can find more in Internet
