I just got my Ipod touch 4th generation the Ipod screen says to plug it in to Itunes but when I do it doesn't show up on the list of devises
I have unpluged and repluged it in and I updated Itunes, nothing happened with either of them.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. -

Recently, my PC was reset to factory settings and obviously, my music was not kept on my computer. I understand that iTunes can recover music that was purchased through iTunes, but that is not the case. If I downloaded or ripped music to my computer from any outside source, how can I restore this to my computer. Help is greatly appreciated. thanks

i bought a ipod touch 4th generation with cracked screen and i finally got it to turn on itunes and the ipod was making charging noises but the screen was just white i tryed updating it to ios 5.1.1 bit did nothink so i was wondering how to fix this white screen i tryed a hard reboot ( whitch i heard might work ) but did nothink if there is no sulution to fixing this is it worth buying a new screen ? thaanks

I got my ipod touch (4th generation) on March 20, 2012, and it fell out of my pocket when I jumped. Unfortunantly, the screen cracked very badly, and it has become a hazard, not only for the many cuts I have gotton on my fingers from the ipod screen's broken glass, but for what I type (because the screen is cracked so badly, I cannot see what I am doing). The ipod has become pointless to own in its condition. I would like to know how much the repair would be, where the best place to get it done is located, and how much future insurance would cost in the United States. Thank you for you time.

How do I use my iPod Touch 4th Generation with air play with my Apple TV?
Can someone please help me. I need to find out if my iPod Touch 4th Generation can be used for Air Play with my Apple TV. When I go to photos I can use Air Play to display them. But I cannot use airplay for my apps like Facebook, and My games like The Sims. I am using iOS 6.0.1. Is that the issue if so, When you be updating the 4th Gen. Touch to be able to use it with the 6.0.2 version. I beleive Apple can do better with this. I just purchased my Apple TV yesterday, and I don't want to have to take it back already, because it doesn't work with my iPod 4th Gen.
Do the games and apps show the AIrPlay option? No all do.

I'm confused, my ipod touch 4th generation won't let me drag my songs from my itunes library to the ipod? So i tried checkmarking the songs I want and I don't know how to sync those? Also, I try to sync apps to my ipod and it says my computer doesn't have the liscense for it?
You should really read the manual.

I just got a new iPod Touch 4th generation for my daughter. I have a iPhone 5 that is already set up on iTunes. The only thing I want on her iPod from my iTunes is music and apps. How do I set her iPod up so that it only gets that information? Do I set it up as a new device? If so will that alter my iTunes?

I just got a new iPod touch 4th generation and I'm trying to connect to my router and my iPod says, 'Cannont find network.' I don't know what to do! No other networks come up on the list so I can't 'tag' along with thier wifi. Please help. I need advice.
What type network is yu router set up for? The 4G iPod can only connect and see 2.4 GHZ networl like B, G and the 2,4 GHz N. There is also a 5 GHz N but the iPod will not even seethat network.

i have the ipod touch 4th generation and the screen is white, i was going to charge it and it turned white. I have tried to reset it but the apple logo will not show up and it will not turn on! i just got it for christmas... can you please help?
The way I did it was I got the free app sync:stream from the App Store and then added my ipod to my ps3's Bluetooth devices. Then went to audio settings and set output and input to 'Skaggs iPod' you then open the app and it will be listed under music as a media service. You then go to all tracks and click copy (press triangle) it will then begin to copy all of your songs onto your ps3 via Bluetooth. I haven't tried but I assume the same can be done with photos.
