If you are in the US call Apple Customer Support 1-800-767-2775, provide the Serial Number and specifications of the Mac, and for a reasonable fee, they will supply a replacement set of system discs (if available).
The discs will be for the original version of the OS that was pre-installed when the Mac was manufactured.

If purchase directly from iTunes you can download them again.
If your iPod is synced to iTunes on a Windows PC, then, sync your iPod to that computer.

The following article has some useful tips that can help stabilize your iPhone.
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.

If your Home Button works, you should be able to reset - press the Home and Main button at the same time for 15 sec. Then press the main button for 2sec to have it restart.
Do what I said earlier:
I would advice you to go to the link I sent you above: https://selfsolve.apple.com/GetWarranty.do and ask for an exception.
I don't promise that they'll change it but they may, mainly if the problem of the Home Button is going on since more than half a year (still within the one year warranty) and you just explain that you did not know that you could have changed it at the time and now it's completely dead.
If you really want to recover all your stuff and are living in the US, you should go to the nearest Genius bar and see what they can do. -

I was told I could sync my music on my pc with my ipad2 by an apple agent. I hooked my ipad2 up to my pc and did so, but now I can not open any of my apps on my ipad2. when I try it just flickers and does not open. Can anyone help?
On you iPad, force close all the Apps in the multitask window.
Follow these steps to force an app to close:
From the Home screen, click the Home button twice.
Tap and hold on the app.
When it starts to jiggle, tap the to close it on by one until all cleared
Now do a Soft reset of your iPad:
Hold both Home and Sleep button for around 10secs until you see the Apple logo then release. After it returns to Home screen, try your Apps again and see if this resolves the issue. -
Can anyone help me? I just put a DVD into my IMAC 27". It sounds like it's trying to read but then it ejects it. I tried this DVD on another IMAC with not problems. My computer just ran out of Apple Care. Help!

I just bought a iphone 3g unlocked gsm. I try to download apps it says i need 4.3 i have 4.2.1 however i goto i tunes to update it says 4.2 is latest version but mu buddy bought a unlocked iphone 3g to and he has 5.1 so i googled it and there telling me i need to use whited00r to upgrade the older iphones. iOS 4.2.1 is the final version of iOS that an iPhone 3G will run, so you will not be able to use any apps that require iOS 4.3 or later. There is no way to get any later version of iOS onto your iPhone without serious hacking, something we cannot discuss here.
You do not get the option to update iOS directly from an iPhone until you have iOS 5 or later.

i suddenly observed my iphone screen turns violet, i tried to turn it off but its not responding so i tried to charge it although i just finished charging it.. but still no reaction so i connect my phone to laptop still the same and gradually violet fade and turning to black.. please can any one help me on this matter....
Sounds like your phone is in recovery mode. In this case, all data on it is gone. There's nothing to back up.

thanksI am having same issue on my iPhone 5s. Whenever i am trying login to iCloud from my device setting it's asking for apple id password & every time showing incorrect password verification failed but in fact the password is correct.
When trying to restore my iPhone from my PC iTunes backup it's asking to turn off Find my iPhone from the device iCloud setting. When i am going to turn it off from device iCloud setting it's asking for apple id password then a notification showing "verification failed, the connection to iCloud timed out.
I never faced this on any other iOS version other than iOS 8/8.0.2
