I just bought a iphone 3g unlocked gsm. I try to download apps it says i need 4.3 i have 4.2.1 however i goto i tunes to update it says 4.2 is latest version but mu buddy bought a unlocked iphone 3g to and he has 5.1 so i googled it and there telling me i need to use whited00r to upgrade the older iphones. I tried its not working can anyone pls help me i judt wanns be able to use my uphone to tje fullest of its abilitys!!!
iOS 4.2.1 is the final version of iOS that an iPhone 3G will run, so you will not be able to use any apps that require iOS 4.3 or later. There is no way to get any later version of iOS onto your iPhone without serious hacking, something we cannot discuss here.
You do not get the option to update iOS directly from an iPhone until you have iOS 5 or later.

Sounds like you have multiple Apple IDs, which causes a myriad of issues. Go here to straighten it out. Be forewarned that it's a pain.

Did you reboot the phone by holding the home and sleep/wake buttons together at same time for 10 seconds?

You need to purchase a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD, which requires an Intel Mac with at least 1GB RAM. Run Software Update twice afterwards.
If you're already running Mac OS X 10.6, run Software Update until it gives you the option of installing iTunes 11.

Hi all, I just bought a used mac pro and it has 4 Geforce 7300 GT video cards in it. Why would it have 4? Is it just to display on 8 monitors, or can OSX use the power of each card? Is there anything I can do to take advantage of these extra cards? sell them?!
No, OS X cannot combine the four cards. All they are good for is to connect 8 monitors. If you don't plan to do that then you're better off removing three of them (only the upper three.) This will save energy - roughly 50-75 watts per card - and the computer will be cooler.

Click on your account name in the top right corner of the iTunes store in the iTunes application on your computer, enter your password and click the "view account" button. Navigate to the Apple ID summary where you have the option to "change country or region".
In order to change your location, you will need a credit card registered to an address in the location you are trying to change to.
You cannot change your location if you have credit on your account, if you are unable to spend your credit and leave a balance of zero, contact Apple, which you can do through iTunes Store Support. -
My iphone keeps freezing, especially in the mail setting. The support center indicates i should go to settings, then general settings, and then to update software, but there is no "update software" selection under general settings. can anyone help? Thanks!

Standard troubleshooting...
Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
Remove all apps from Recently Used list...
- From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List
- Tap and hold any icon in this list until they wiggle
- Press the red to delete apps from this list.
- Press the home button twice when done.
If still a problem restore with your backup.
If still a problem restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.
If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue. -
