I just upgraded to firefox 6 and now cannot connect to the internet. IE still works fine but firefox won't connect. Any suggestions on how to get the new firefox to connect to the internet?

I just upgraded to ff 6.0.1 via an automatic push. Since then, ff hasnt been able to connect to the internet. Error message:
Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www.google.com.Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www.google.com.
IE has no trouble connecting to the internet.

After upgrading, your firewall may not be recognizing the new Firefox version and is not allowing it access to the internet. On your firewall progam's allowed applications list, remove Firefox, then re-start Firefox, try going to a website, your firewall will detect the new version of Firefox, then give the permissions needed for Firefox to have internet access.

I recently upgraded to Mountain Lion and now cannot print out on my Brother QL-570 printer. I get as far as typing in the label name and then the labeller or computer disconnect. I have tried downloading drivers from Brother but they can't do that as only Apple can do that but there is nothing in Apple to do that. I also reloaded the program off the set up disc. . Any ideas?

I'm using FireFox and tell it to save the driver and stuff on the desktop, and when I quit FireFox, there it is on the desktop. you'll also need your admin password. It should show up as a .dmg file, then double-click on it to open it. You should see "Brother.pkg" . start up brother.pkg (double click??) and folow the instructions that ought to appear to install the printer driver. If the .dmg file doesn't mount, use Disk Utility** to mount it and get it working. Then you should see the package. and then you can install it.
** you may have to click on the .dmg file and choose "Get Info" then Open with, then choose disk utility, and then open with then change all. then close it. Hopefully that ought to work. If you cannot remember your admin password, I can't help you right now. Looks like you'd need it, to let Brother install that printer driver.

Same for me with Iphone 5 and IOS 7 on mac pro. Install ITunes 11.1 and after reboot nothing work. Work only with Mac Pro in safe mode.

Apple Support, I have just purchased 3 movies 2 from my account and 1 from my wifes account and both systems are stating that it will take 2 days to download. I have a FIOS 150 megabit per second up and 150 megabit per second down busiuness class fiber service to my location. I have tested downloading 10Gbyte files from two other locations and both work fine. I additionally went out and have tested doing speed tests (http://www.speedtest.net/) from over 10 other locations all over the US and all are over 75 magabits per second download speeds with a few hitting 100 and 125 megabit per second speeds. What is wrong with your servers or your internet connection????

I have additionally tried to download them with my Apple TV and two different PCs all wired on Gigabit Ethernet with jumbo frames enabled. I have tried differnet DNS servers also. I can upload and download files to my office 50G in less than 1 hour. I have also download movies from 2 other movie sites without any problems.

Thanks but I've reinstalled V4 until V5 is stable and more or less working the way I want to work - not the way some programmer thinks I should want to work.
You know change is OK but only if it makes things better for the user Change shouldn't be made to make the developer feel good about his/her expertise. For me V4 was Good. V5 gives me too many issues to deal with - I just need a relatively simple browser (and I guess I'm not the only 1 out there that feels like this).

Go to settings>messages>send and receive at>you can be reached by iMessages at> Uncheck your phone number and you can select your Apple ID emal address if you want to use that for messages.

you probably have an incomplete/corrupt download.
to confirm check the file size against the expected file size.
then re-download perhaps with a different browser.
