Do I have any chance of pointing a client/server version of forms at a 10gR2 EE edition database and having them work? They are a small group currently at 8.0.5 and running D2K against that DB. I know....I feel like I'm in a time warp, but I'd hate to have to tell them they need to go out and buy a new server with lots of memory and disk space because they need to purchase 10gAS, and then upgrade to Dev10g. Does anyone have any expeience in getting Dev6i to work with a 10gR2 db? Grant and Frank. If you guys respond, I promise not to tell anyone ;-)

Has anyone tried installing and running Captivate 8 on Windows XP?
I know running Windows XP is a dumb idea in most cases nowadays, but my plan would be to run it within a virtual machine solely for use with Captivate, as that is the only Windows app that I need to use. I'm switching over to a Macbook Pro Retina 15" as my primary computer tomorrow, and I have a spare Windows XP license that I don't use for anything else. And since Captivate's licensing is different from Creative Clouds in that the same license cannot be used for both Windows AND Mac, I'd prefer to use the Windows XP license I already have.

Try cleaning out the phone's port, of pocket fluff and such. Carefully. And check the mains adapter similarly, but less likely.

Something went wrong with the update, this can and does happen with every version of iOS.
There is nothing wrong with the update.
Simply restore the device via iTunes on the computer.
If iTunes is stating it will take hours to update, that indicates an extremely slow Internet connection and is likely the reason the OTA update failed.

Youtube on iphone messgae " movie not supported" - but is is????

youtube randomly stopped working the other day on my iphone 3g.
I get the message "This movie format is not supported", but it is supported as when i first got the phone it played it, and i bookmarked it.

More things seam to be not working now, email is incredible slow to connect and update, and sometimes cannot connect to the mobile me mail server. This may be unrelated . . i duno,
But youtube is useless, i see the list of videos, but if i click on one, it just wont load and displays the above mentioned errors.
How ever today i played with it on the train over cellular 3g netowrk, and EDGE, and youtube works fine. Also i have free wifi in melbourne city with telstra, and youtube works there , , , so im thinking its my home wifi thats doing something, however that is really weird as everything worked when i first got the phone, and now . . ..

Hi Guys,
I'm having a very annoying issue with the MSI control center on my MSI P67A-C45.
When I try to run it says the motherboard is not supported, but the software was downloaded from MSI website under my motherboard model.
Another thing is that the Intel Management Engine Driver didn't run the installation saying my computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements? I'm running Windows 7 x86, core i5 2500K and 8GB ram

My apple-id was stolen a few weeks ago. The person who stole it changed the password and security questions.
For some reason my iPad was blocked, couldn't open anything anymore.

However, i didn't get my apple-id back. I have spoken with a senior-advisor and he told me to
call me back later that day. Wich he did, but i missed the call. Because we can't call back i e-mailed him

Because i can't babysit my phone, and because you have to be faster then lightning to pick up the phone,
i missed his calls again. I did send him another email 5 days ago, told him to call me over noon, or to let me know
anything by e-mail but untill today i still didn't get a response.
Now i understand if they can't take my ID back, but i asked him to either give it back to me
or at least block the account so the person who owns it can't abuse my information or name.
The person can post anything on the internet under my name.
The person can see and use or delete all my information...
If i was Rihanna, would it take 3 weeks to get it back ?

I have a Nokia 6230i - response from querying the modem gives FCLASS? as zero (no fax support) but the INF file shows that fax support is there:

The Nokia 6320i does not appear in the list of valid modems for Microsoft Fax, though it is in the list of modems for data stuff. I can use it as a modem fine for data calls.
I have tried initialising the modem using the string specified ATS7=255&D3 but to no avail.
Surely there is some way of enabling the fax modem - by flashing the phone or something.....

Sorry George - don't think you can. After searching elsewhere it looks like fax support isn't something they bothered to implement on this phone's modem.
You need to check the feature list of the phone when you buy it if you want a fax-modem.
It seems completely unbelieveable that this isn't there as in the commercial modem market they all come with fax support. Just laziness that they didn't implement it I can only presume.
I got round this by setting up an account with efax.com and sending faxes via email.
Shame I know - but this actually works very nicely (you email the phone number @efax.com with the document you want to send attached) and I also get to have a backup of all received faxes (faxes to your number come in as email).

You can clean the iPhone's dock connector with an old dry toothbrush.
You won't know for certain, but if no change after making sure the dock connector port is clean, more than likely there is some damage.
Make an appointment at an Apple store if there is one nearby where it can be determined if there is damage to the dock connector port or if there is another hardware problem.

Hi, I tried to set up the handoff on a mac mini mid2011, and not works. The syspref does not show the checkbox.
there is an iPad and an iPhone paired, both has ios 8.1, and handoff and continuity enabled (the SMS-es shared perfectly, icloud drive works, etc)
all devices paired on BT as well. the handoff between the ios devices works
I read that mid2011 MacMini is supporting handoff, it requires BT4.0LE and the hw id 0x6

"Type of file not supported" but previous timeline files OK

Simply put, I have projects that I can open up and they display and edit the MTS files from my Panasonic camera fine. yet, I cannot add any new MTS files or even import ones that are already in the timeline without it saying to me "Type of file not supported". It obviously supports them since my project before imported and I edited them without problem.
I just got done uninstalling and reinstalling the software. But no help.
How can it see and use MTS files in my timeline yet cannot recognize any of the same files in the media folder?
I'm stuck with a useless Premiere Application. $99 down the drain.

I found out the problem.
The MTS files can't be dragged into the timefrom from the media folder.
They can be dragged from the project folder.
That is the simple fact. Even though it says it does not recognize the file type in the media area, if you import a file into the media area it also appears in the project area and you can go to the project area to drop the file into the timeline.
Go figure...
I am editing away once again. This is what happens when you don't use a program for a while.

I had a Belkin charger and cord for the iPod Touch 3G because Apple failed to include a necessary AC adapter to charge one of their products, which I thought was cheap being that it is a 300+ device. Anyways, when I plugged my new iPhone 4 in, I could not turn on the sound and it didn't have any sound. When I used the cable that came with the iPhone, I was able to get my sound back. The problem is with the cord. If it is not completely compatible with Apple then you will not be able to charge the iPhone.
