I live in UK but I am on vacation in DR and my iPod touch will not let me access the internet, I am connected to a wi-fi connection. It did work when I arrived

I can connect to Skype but not facebook, emails or safari. the error message says 'Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding'.
can anyone help me?

You can guess the passwoard. That is all you can do.
You can enter the router etup and change the password. You may have to rese the whole router. Look at/download the manual for the router to find out how to do that.

The troubleshooting detailed below can help get your iPod Touch to charge.
If your battery doesn't charge, or if your device shows a low-battery image, black screen, or "accessory not supported" alert, follow these steps.
Inspect the connector at the bottom of the phone:
Make sure that there are no bent pins in the connector.
Make sure that the connector is free from debris.
If there are bent pins or debris, please contact Apple Support.
Otherwise, continue troubleshooting.
Make sure that the outlet you're using works.
Make sure that the Apple USB cable and Apple USB power adapter work.
Plug the device in to power and let it charge until your device turns on. This could take between 10 and 30 minutes. If you don't have an Apple USB power adapter, try connecting to a computer's high-power USB 2.0 port (not a keyboard). The computer must be on.
If the device still exhibits an issue, try turning your device off and then on again while connected to power.
If the issue persists, please contact Apple Support.

Since upgrading to osx 10.9.1 my canon pixma mg5300 will let me print on wifi but will not let me add scanner? Any advice please?

Usuallly, least as I recall, there was an application for runnin' the scanner, but maybe not. Try here for the latest driver for your scanner

Usually, try Preview. You may have to set it up as a scanner under "Printers and scanner" (General Preferences)

My ipod touch is acting up. The screen says that it is connected to to the wireless and it has a signal but when I open the Safari(Internet) app it will not open and will only open to google. My regular internet is working fine. Can any of you help me? Please and thank you.

Did the iPod connect before?
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

I just bought a new laptop and my ipod nano will not stay connected to my computer. When I first connect the ipod it starts to sync on my ipod but not on itunes. The ipod is initially connected to my computer, I can see it when I look on devices in my computer. However, when it finishes syncing it is no longer detected to my computer. I cannot transfer any of my songs to my new laptop because of this. I have tried to reinstall itunes, reset my ipod and use a different port. None of these things worked. Any ideas?

Try going to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. I'd give these troubleshooting steps a try, they're for when your iPad appears frozen or unresponsive:
If the device is unresponsive or certain controls aren't working as expected, try restarting
To turn off the device, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
Slide your finger across the slider to turn off the device.
To turn on the device, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), try resetting
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds.
