I lost my HD on my laptop, how do I get to the songs off my apple TV???

About two weeks ago my HD crashed. I had it repaired and now when I try to access my apple TV it doesn't recognize my computer. All my music is on the HD of the apple TV. How do I get it back?

This looks to be beyond my aptitude, but there may be a way to get your songs off the Apple TV without cracking open the case. Some of these folks are even running a full blown version of Tiger on their Apple TVs:

I suspect unless he had some items in iCloud backup then they are gone. Connecting an iPhone to a different library from that to which it was previously connected will result in the device asking if you want to erase it.

how can i get my bank card off my apple id account. i have recently found out that money has been coming out of my bank account that im not spending, we figured it is a glitch in between the ipad that me and my grnddaughter have. she used her apple id on my ipad 3 when i first got it and then i changed it over to mine but then she got a ipad 4 adn started using her apple id on it but every thing she buys or her friend that has used her account but got off of it and then bought stuff off of their own account, but for some reason everything they buy on there accounts money comes out of my bank account because she used her apple id on my ipad and then we switched it over to mine........ so some one please tell me how to get my bank card off of my apple id account and how to possible try to get my money back.... because it has took 80 bucks out of my bank account for 2 months and i cant afford that its to close to christmas for this so please help me..

I used to have this problem.
First, you need to go back on iTunes
you need to go to each of the songs that are having this problem
Click the album so all the songs drop down
Right click the songs that have this problem
Click ' Get info '
Click the tab that says " info '
The box that says ' album artist ' should probably be empty (correct me if I'm wrong)
Click it and type the artist of the entire album, NOT the songs guest artist
as such,
ARTIST
JAY-Z Feat. Justin Timberlake
ALBUM ARTIST
JAY-Z
These should be separate for each artist
If you write the same album artists for each song by that artist, all the songs should be on 1 album

The music sync is one way - computer to ipod. The exception is itunes purchases: File>Transfer Purchases
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer. Use your backup copy to put everything back.
Certainly you did not reinstall your OS without making sure your backup copy was current.

Sorry, but officially Apple does not allow redownloads of purchased items other than iPhone/iPod touch applications and iBooks. It's your responsibility to make backup copies (as iTunes itself advises) in case something goes wrong with your system, as unfortunately it apparently did in your case, and you lose all the information on your hard drive. The official statement of their policy can be found here, among other places.
For apps, look here for instructions on redownloading. For songs, movies, and videos, if you don't have a backup of your purchased items, either on external media or another computer and don't have them on an iOS device (iPhone, iPod touch, iPad), you're probably out of luck and will need to repurchase your content.
If you have your content on an iOS device, post back and someone here can help you get them restored. Otherwise you can try contacting iTunes Store Customer Service (select the "Music Purchases" or "Video Purchases" category, as appropriate, then "Lost or Missing Items". You'll find either an "Express Lane" button - just follow the instructions to get to the contact form - or an "Email Us" button) ") and explaining what happened. Reportedly in some cases Apple has allowed redownloading on a one-time basis. But don't count on it.

How do i get back the songs that were on my iphone before i used autofill in itunes?

I'm still not that good at using itunes so when i connected my iphone and chose 'autofill', i assumed that it would just add the songs that i didn't already have - but it actually replaced all the songs.
