I'm having a real hard time retrieving my emails from my old device

I've switched to a 5s from a 4s I'm having a hard time reciveing my old and new emails and had to manually download all apps ,my contacts went through just fine I'm not reciveing any email? Can anybody help?

Do you have the email accounts created on the new device. You will not get old email from the old devices on the new device, unless they are IMAP or Exchange accounts. Email downloaded to a device are on the local device and are not part of the backup or sync. If you are having issues getting new mail, that is a completely different issue.
Not sure exactly what you did in the activation of this new device, but it sounds like you may have set it up as new and are trying to sync data back from iTunes? Is that correct?

You cannot see it because it is hidden.. one of those great things apple does.. if it is hidden in your Mac then it will be hidden in the Time Machine Backup.
You will need to restore the entire folder to a different location.. and unhide it.

Premiere Elements 7, on what computer operating system?
In Premiere Elements 7, there are various effects for lightening a dark video. After applying one of these lighting effects, have you been editing these applied effects in Edit Effects/Properties Palette after you apply them?

Image Control Panel that is a default Properties Palette panel along with Motion and Opacity....for Brightness, Contrast, Hue, and Saturation.

I am having a very hard time with some websites opening on my computer, but when I try to open them on my daughters computer(not an apple) it opens immediately

Go step by step and test.
1. Power cycle
     Power off the router. Unplug it from the wall. Wait a while.
     Plug it back to the wall. Power the router on. Wait until all the lights are lit properly.
     It will take a   while.
     Restart the computer.
     Start up in Safe Mode

    Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
    Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.
    Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.

    Option click the "Go" menu in the Finder menu bar.
    Select "Library" and then "Caches".
    Look for the folder 'com.apple.Safari"
    Right click "com.apple.Safari" and select "Move to Trash"
    Relaunch Safari.
3. Reset Safari.
    Click Safari in the menu bar.
    From the drop down select "Reset Safari".
      Click "Reset".
4. Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and all other website data:
     Press “Remove All Website Data” button
5. Turn off Extensions if any, and launch Safari.
    Safari > Preferences > Extensions

Computer died...now how can I retrieve keyword tags from my old hard drive?

I got a new computer and installed Elements 9.0 on it. I am retrieving the pics from my old hard drive just fine but I seem to have lost the majority of my old keyword tags. Any help? Thanks.

If you didn't write the keyword tags to all the photos when your old computer was working, you can't get the tags back by simply retrieving the photos.
You'll need to retrieve the entire catalog directory. When you open that old catalog on your new computer, all your photos will be listed as "missing". Use the Reconnect All Missing Files to connect them by browsing to their current location.

Because you're using the Migration Assistant, and it can't migrate data to an existing user account. Transfer everything at once or use a different method.

Every time I move emails from the inbox to another mailbox, then click on any mailbox, and then go back to the inbox, the moved messages have returned to the inbox

Every time I move emails from the inbox to another mailbox, then click on any mailbox (the emails are there fine), and then go back to the inbox, the moved messages have returned to the inbox. I have moved them out of the inbox to other mailboxes again and again, but then they keep showing up in the inbox again as soon as I click on any mailbox other than the inbox. Very frustrating.
This has only happened since I installed Mavericks on both my Macbook Pro and my iMac. It happens on both of them.
Any ideas how to fix it?

This may be one of the known issues with Gmail and it's IMAP settings working with Maverick's Mail.
It all comes down to if you have the ALL MAIL folder visible or not via IMAP.
If you do not, then you get the behavior you are describing.
If you do have ALL MAIL visible, then there isn't a problem.
Odd, I know.

Restore from the iCloud backup - assuming that you were backing up to iCloud in the first place. If you weren't using iCloud for backup - then you are out of luck.
If you were backing up to iCloud - you have to erase all contents on the iPad in Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings - before you can restore from the iCloud backup.

Having a hard time deleting some mail from junk! Every time I delete it returns to the junk mail instantly! Won't go away! What's up with that

Did you try swiping across the message in the preview window rather than use the Edit button? If you still can't delete the messages, quite mail and reboot the iPad and try again.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that still doesn't work, log into your email in a web browser and delete the junk mail there.

My computer hard drive crashed but I have a HP Recovery Backup of it with all the files unzipped. How can I retrieve my emails from this backup on my new comput

II lost my HP hard drive after doing a HP Recovery Backup using Windows 7. I now have a new computer using Windows 8.1 and I have successfully unzipped all my files including my Thunderbird and Firefox profiles,. I have installed Firefox and Thunderbird on the new computer but cannot figure out how to get my bookmarks (Firefox) or my emails (Thunderbird) off these old profiles. Just substituting the old profiles stops the applications from opening and obviously I did not create these using the application export facility. Can the application be fooled by renaming the file with the name of the new profile? or is there some internal code that the program checks. I'm totally at a loss.

The Profile names have to match what Firefox and Thunderbird is expecting to find. Any difference and they may not start, or they may just create a new Profile ''as they are supposed to when the expected Profile is "gone".''
You can rename the old Profiles to the names of the new Profiles; or you can carefully edit the profiles.ini file to match the Profile names of the old Profiles. ''One mistake and it's toast, though.''
But IMO, the best thing to do is to go to the folder level where the '''profiles.ini''' file and the '''profiles''' folderset is located --

where you should find '''profiles.ini''' and the '''Profiles''' folder, ''and maybe other files / folders''
Copy that whole '''Firefox''' folder from the old installation over to the new one.
With Thunderbird that should work the same as it is based upon the basics in Firefox, but I have never used Thunderbird.
