Recently, the sound on my iPad Air randomly shuts down, (os 7.1 downloaded) then it randomly pops up again. Sounds in the videos of photo gallery still works, as well as the videos on the internet (browser: chrome), and videis on Facebook too, but sounds like key board clicks, lock sounds, and games from the App Store store stop working... There are a number of possible approaches to your issue. At first I thought it may be that your logic board was going out. The it sounded as if you needed to Reset the PMU. Finally, who talked about slapping it around and getting results, it sounds like it may be a loose display cable or something of that sort. Since you are completely new to Macs your best bet would be to go online and make an appointment at the Genius Bar in your local Apple Store. It costs nothing. They will look over your computer and give you an idea of what is wrong and what it will cost to rectify it.
Meanwhile, to help to identify your computer more closely, while the computer is booted go to Apple Menu > About this Mac. That will tell you the OS you have installed, the Processor speed and the computer you have. Please report this info back with you response.

P.S: For the iphone 4S. is there any difference for the one from online shop or the actual store?iPhones purchased from the online Apple Store in Australia will be unlocked. To the best of my knowledge, unlocked iPhone are not available from the physical Apple Stores at this time, though you can call the Apple Store in Melbourne and inquire.
Note that the warranty on iPhones is not international, so if you purchase an iPhone in Australia and it needs service, you would have to ship the iPhone to someone in Australia to take or send to Apple for service and then ship it back to you.

i just got the new 5s and when i downloaded my contacts from iCloud a lot of them were missing!!!! i tired to make a new backup from my old iphone but it didn´t worked, what can i do to get all my contacts?

I bourght "E O Wilson's Life on Earth" and backed it up to my iMac. Now it won't sync back to my iPad because it says I don't have permission on this computer. I don't want to download it from iTunes again because it took up a lot of bandwidth. What's the deal?

Correct. it does not magially appear in other places. It will only be where you put it.

Correct as well. Iphone will sync with one computer at a time. Syncing to another will erase the current content.
You need to copy everything ( itunes library/contacts/pics/calendars/files/docs) from the old computer, or your backup copy of the old one, to the new one. -
I'm having a lot of problems with the hotmail account, regularly is indicating an error in the server, that I have to introduce the password again that late that this is wrong. I have changed the password making this shorter but it does not work.

I'm using the latest photoshop cc 2014 with most updated camera raw... i am having A LOT/REPEATED trouble getting files to "synch" with corrections, no matter what i options i select (i.e. "everything")... WTH is wrong with me/my computer/adobe?! help. fast. please

I'm going to assume that since you deleted your hard drive and all its files, you had a backup, yes? If the backup has an OS (bootable clone), then you can boot into it by holding down the option key when you start up you iMac and choose the backup drive. Then use Carbon Copy Cloner or Super Duper to copy the files back to your iMac.

Remember you can only build an iPad app using your Single Edition solution (which is included in your CC membership). So you'd need a Pro or Enterprise version of DPS to be able to create the Android version.
You can create pop-ups in InDesign using the slideshow options and a multi-state object. But it's all manual labour so you'll spend a lot of time on this, also depending on the layout of your design. -
I meet a lot of 3G signal when a call signal disappears 3G! I read the manuals and anything I find the problem! I do so with other brands and other cell does not, the same goes when I receive a call!
Who is your carrier? Are you actually on 3G?
Do you have 3G turned on or off? Settings > General > Network > Enable 3G -

I am going to be buying a macbook air 2012 model with 4 GB ram soon. I was wondering how much space (memory) does Norton AV take up and does it drastically slow down the computer. Also, I am going off to uni so will predominantly be using the laptop for surfing and MS office.

In this age of email attachments and social networks, it is actually a good idea to have a good antivirus on your system. {I realize that this is a religious argument and I will say no more}. With that said, the general concensus is that Norton AV is terrible. It is intrusive and uses up a lot of cycles.
There are a lot of better AV clients out there. I use ClamXav which is free and uses the clamav antivirus that is open source.
