use the exclusive radio buttons made by ni , the program will execute
faster. but there aren't eight radio buttons I can choose. How can I
do ? Or How can I make some changes to the slide that I will get the
result like NI does?
You'll have to give the processor some time. In the parallel loop, put a
'Wait (ms)' from the Time & Diaglog pallete. Wire e.g. 10 to it, and the
computer has some time to do other processes (like the other loop, and
updating the user interface).
When you have something like this, you can open the task manager (win nt,
win 2000). If it it this problem, the processor uses 100% processor time.

Blocking process each other but not killing..

I have situation where 2 SPID's 82 and 112 blocking each other but deadlock monitor is not killing one of them. 82 is trying to get the shared lock on few pages of an object and got the shared lock on 1 page where as waiting on other. mean while Spid 112
got the exclusive lock on the page where 82 is waiting for and trying to convert the lock on other page where 82 already has a lock.
This is perfect dead lock situation but SQL Server is not detecting it as dead lock so not killing one of the process.
This is on SQl Server 2008 R2 SP2 , can you please tell me why is this not being resolved by SQL Server?I have the sp_locks for both the process here and filtered for the object which is causing it... hope this will help to see this clearly.

I have an imac 24 , imac 27, mac book pro, airbook and Iphone 3G. I have switched to icloud from mobile and all the computers synch with each other but data entered from my iphone in ical won't sync to the other computers.
Is there a setting on the iphone that will allow ical entries on the iphone to sink to my other computers

First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings. -
My wife and I share a computer for our itunes accounts. How can we copy our music libraries to each others accounts without erasing the original library? We want to merge our songs.
If the music is on the same computer, import the songs to your iTunes library by dragging them into iTunes or choosing File > Add to Library (Mac) or File > Add File to Library or Add Folder to Library (Windows). If the music is on different computers you can set up Home Sharing to copy the music from one library to the other (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3819 and http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4620).

How can I select adn enlarge the entire document/image on a page, reducing the the surrounding boarder? I can move the different text and image boxes around independently of each other but the outer most boarders of the main template block appear to be fixed. I thought I would be able to enlarge or reduce my document from 'page layout' but this does not seem possible.

We use Illustrator to create circuit layouts. For part of our process, we create an image of all of the layers using spot colors to show the printed layers overlapping each other. We then rasterize the file and send the image through a Matlab routine that performs some analysis of the circuits based on the colors of the pixels.
In some cases, I have created images with areas next to each other, but not overlapping. When rasterizing the image, the rasterizing process appears to treat the borders as overlapping and creates a single pixel wide border between the 2 areas when there is none. This is playing havoc with our Matlab routine.
I can manually go in and remove the rasterized border, however on some projects, this is a very lengthy process. Has anyone experienced anything like this, or have any ideas on how to prevent this?Would align to pixel grid help?

That is because they do not generally pair. What is it that you are trying to do by connecting them via Bluetooth? If you are referring to AirDrop or continuity, then all you need to do is have Bluetooth turned on, they do not pair.

i believe i have set up icloud properly. My Ipad and my Mac are synching Notes to each other but they are not synching properly to Icloud.
I have also set up Calendar to synch on all of the 2 devices and the Icloud and those three things all synch fine.
any thoughts?As long as both devices are compatible with iCloud, it should work. When you say they sync with each other, does that mean via iTunes? Go to iCloud.com and check what if any content is being synced.

Layering radio button exclusion groups
I would like to create a table using radio buttons, where the heading row is one exclusion group, and the two rows below it are two more exclusion groups.
Then, I would like each column underneath the heading to be a separate mini exclusion group.
Finally, for whichever button is selected in the heading row, I would like only the mini exclusion group directly beneath it to be able to be used.
Is this even possible, or can radio buttons only belong to one group at a time?
ShoshanaThe script isn't too complicated. The problem is that you have to get around the fact that Acrobat will always let a form with a radio button group flagged as mandatory be submitted regardless of whether a radio button within the group has been selected prior to submission.
You can do this by using two buttons: The first is a regular (non-submitting) button while the second is the actual email submit button. The catch is that the real email submit button is hidden (it can't be seen on the form, nor can it be clicked on by the user).
The first step, which isn't really necessary but would be good practice, would be to mark the radio button group which contains the radio buttons as being mandatory. You can do this by selecting any of the radio buttons in the group which should be mandatory, going to the Object palette and setting the Type property to
User Entered - Required. This will have the effect of Acrobat being able to highlight the radio buttons in red if the user chooses to "Highlight required fields" when filling the form.
The second step is setting-up the two buttons. This step is identical to the second step described in the following thread (about making a check box mandatory for email submission):
Mandatory check box before form submission. Have a look at the first reply to the thread. You should start reading at the paragraph that begins with, "The second part..."
The script checks that the value of the check box is "1". Your script would simply check that the radio button group's rawValue property isn't an empty string.

For me I am not very technically proficient in coding so I tend to gravitate to, how you say, less than elegant solutions. What I do is create an Email Submit button for each Radio button. Then I create a dummy Email Submit button (this part will be key later). From the Object Library view on each Email Submit button I set the Email Address and Email Subject that I want. Then I hide all of the Email Submit buttons with the exception of the dummy Email Submit button. From the Action Builder I then create an action on the dummy Email Submit that when the button is clicked to open a dialog box to say "Please Select an Option". I then create an action within the Action Builder on each Radio button to show the corresponding Email Submit button that has the subject line I need while also making sure to hide the dummy Email Submit button (and any other buttons if the user clicks several radio buttons). That worked for me in the past. Then I added a DocuReady event on the dummy Email Submit button to make sure it was visible and the other buttons were hidden once the form was open. Sort of a reset if you will. The downside is if the user changes nothing they still get a prompt to save the changes. I am sure that some of our more advanced coders can offer a fix to your code lines, but that is sort of the non-coder way to go about this.
Edit: Oh I forgot to say that if you want the buttons to appear the same to the user, just overlay them together. To the user there is no change. -
Please HELP: Homesharing PCs don't see each other, but both are signed in
I just enabled home sharing on both my PCs, one is a windows 7 the other is a windows xp machine.
Both machines now have home sharing turned on.
You can verify it in iTunes by going to Advanced on the menu bar at the top of iTunes, and see that it says "Turn Off Home Sharing (my Account name)". So that's how you know it's turned on with both computers.
But, nothing appears on the left side of iTunes navigation on my new PC. .
It's supposed to show the other PC itunes library once it finds it, and display it under a folder called Shared in the iTunes window, but it is not appearing.
Anyone got any ideas how to solve this one?PROBLEM SOLVED!

SOLVED BY UPGRADING TO THE EXACT SAME AND LATEST iTUNES VERSION ON BOTH PCs, AND RESTARTING iTUNES.
Actually I solved the problem on my own shortly after posting my question last night.
I wanted to make sure I had the latest versions of iTunes on both PCs, and they were both months older iTunes versions, and not the same version on each PC, so I thought maybe I should "align" both iTunes installations up better with the same version.
One PC version of iTunes was 10.4 and the other was who knows what, older I'm sure.
I upgraded both iTunes to be the exact same version 10.6.3, which is the latest version as of today. Then I re-ran both iTunes on both PCs and it is now working like a charm.
What I don't know is if the reason it is now working simply because I restarted iTunes, or because I upgraded both of the PCs to the latest version, or a combo of both reasons. I should have tried just exiting out of itunes then coming back in first before upgrading to see if that was the reason, but no matter, it is working flawlessly now.
Using HomeSharing is THE single best way to copy your iTUNES library from one older PC to your new computer, simply by importing into iTunes on the new PC over the HomeSharing network feature of iTunes. My Nano has 4000 songs so it takes it about 3 hours to do the transfer. It copies the entire iTunes music library onto your new PC without you having to think or figure out where to put the files.
Lots of times on forums I see people recommend things like the firewall or remove and reinstall iTunes, those hardly ever turn out to be the problem. For once I'd like to see people admit that the iTunes program itself on occasion has bugs in it.
One current repeating iTunes bug that frustrates me is in iTunes will not upgrade itself when you tell it to. When you go to Help > Check For Updates , and it comes back and says iTunes updates are available do you want to download it? And you select yes, and it does nothing. This happens on all 3 of my PCs, no error message, it just does nothing.
Apple has had this bug for years and still has not fixed it. All my computers with iTunes have this problem. I always have to bring up a browser and go to Apple to download the iTunes exe and run it because they don't know how to make their own program update itself.
Anyway, my problem with HomeSharing is solved!! -
2 Mac can not see each other via airdrop under the same airport/timecapsule.
I have 2 iMac in my home with a TImeCapsule (gen4).
The wifi is on both 2.4G and 5G with the same SSID.
iMac A is working on 2.4GHz, iMac B is working on 5GHz.
So they can not see each other via airdrop, meanwhile they can see each other in the left panel of Finder.app
