I am a graphic designer and i am trying to create a easier way to make multiple page folders, By using the multiple page size feature in inDesign CS5. But my problem is that i can create the front side of the folder easier than before, the backside is my problem I need to inverse the page order manual, this creates a lot of mistakes and errors along the way. Thats why I need a script to invert the page order of the pages I select. I hope to hear from someone soon.

    Oops, I forgot the redirect to a file. It's not a good idea to edit files in place. A script could fail and you're left with at least one file ruined. It's better to create new files then delete the old files.

    You could narrow the files listed such as

    Every time Firefox opened

    I believe this to be a browser issue, not a google search results issue, and here is why:
    having updated Firefox only yesterday, I visited google images searching for pancakes.... interestingly, I have the NEW image results (yuck) on Firefox 3.6.8, I have the OLD image results on IE8 and Opera 10.53.
    When I use the 'switch to basic version' in Firefox 3.6.8, indeed it DOES revert to the new format next time I image search (in Firefox).
    For those of us who prefer the OLD image results page, I guess we will just have to switch browsers for google image search.
    Now I'm off to research how to get rid of the UGLY FFox sidebar.

    @ Gary: No, there is no need to specify an editable region in the page title.
    If you make a template from a page, by saving it as a template (using "save as template"), the page title is automatically made editable.
    @ Jesus: if you look into the code of your template or of any childpage, it should read like this:

    <title>Mi PageTitle</title>
    <!-- TemplateEndEditable -->
    meaning that the page title is indeed editable.
    If it does not look like this, something went wrong.
    Maybe do a little test, save your page as a template and see if the code reads as above.
    It is important that you keep your templates in the Templates folder in your root folder
    Do not move the folder or change its name, otherwise it will not work.

    You can trigger the AT LINE-SELECTION event by double-clicking a line. The system sets the status TEST and deactivates the function code PICK. The status TEST contains function codes FC1 to FC5.     1. If you can access Menu > Pages > Preferences > General, what do you see?
    My preferences are set to open a specific template (from My Templates):
    Perhaps your preferences are set to Show Template Chooser (which it is doing). This doesn't help with your black screen stuck on "all" but is a diagnostic test.
    2.. You say you have trouble creating a new document. How are you trying this? To me, a new document means choosing this:

    firstword paragraph style is NOT in a paragraph style group, right?
    Is the first word on any page too long when formatted with the paragraph style "firstword" to fit in the text frame?

    Frederik, After some tweaking and testing i was able to get it working, I haven't tested it via GPO as a startup script but standalone it is doing what i was after. I cant thank you enough for helping me on this as i had lost hope after days worth of intense

  • Reset data picker page item by selection page item in Apex

    Hi,
    Need to create a report based on date ranges and for this created a interactive report and two page item datepicker fields P15_fromdate and p15_todate. Report works fine with this criteria.But user wants one more field quarter(P15_quarter), When they select the quarter the range values has to get reset and as to get applied to report.
    Issue here is unable to find a way to set the page range item values based on the quarter field selection
    Need help how to reset the page item fields.

    You're right to think this is pretty laborious stuff. A co-worker wanted to do the same, to make sure users didn't lose a change when clicking Cancel. I suggested he look at calculating the query checksum before and after, which he tried. But it got very cumbersome very fast and he ended up dropping the idea. He's fairly new with Apex, but he's also a quick study, so it's not like he's a novice coder.
    I don't have his implementation details anymore to even share with you.
