My requirement is that i want to install a font on clients machine iam using jsp and how do i check if the font is already installed.
Please help me 2 meet the deadlines.

hi,
If you are using english language and need other font to display something special character you have to provide link to the font file.
else you have to write applet to install font on client machine. then there are other issues like you should have the applet signed.
If you have seen some multiligual sites like japanese. those site use html encoding for that. like Shift_JIS. Due to this the browser sets that perticular font and shows the page. If the font is not installed then it connects to the download center and download the font and install the font.

I am creating a window application that need to use sql server database. I want to install this application to client machine without installing sql server so that my application can still connect to a database i.e mdf file that i will be providing at client
system.
How can i connect to a database(mdf) on client machine through my window application without installing sql server. ? I dont know is it possible or not.
If possible what will be the connection string in that case. Database need not be used in network.

you cant connect and view the internals of mdf file unless it being attached to a sql server instance as a database.
The sql server instance can be installed in any box which is in the same domain and then you can connect from your application to it.

AppleWorks is a very old application and requires Rosetta to run under recent systems.
Lion does not include Rosetta.
If you browse this forum you will find many posts on this issue.

Installing the OS X Lion Update 10.7.3 (Client Combo) will reinstall the App Store for you.
Restart your Mac after the combo is installed then try purchasing Aperture.

BTW, I got another issue, hope can help me, I'm updating my OS X maverick to new one 10.9.2, while updating I need to restart my laptop to update, however i got this error message, "Install Failed! OS X could not be installed on your computer. The installer encounter an error that caused the installation fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance. Click Restart to restart your computerand try installing again." I did that so many times, unfortunately, nothing happens. This is the 1st time Ive ever encounter that issue while updating my Mac. Now, i cannot even go to my main menu, coz everytime I turn on my laptop it's shows the updating process and go back to failed installation. Thanks.

This error message could result from an incorrect setting for date and time, or an operating system which does not have the latest updates installed. It's a good idea to have your location setting on automatic. Turn on the wi fi in your mac for a minute or so, to allow it to automatically search for your present location. Do this even though you have the correct time Date settings displayed.

It is retail disk, i bought it in apple store. I also resetter PRRAM and SMC and checked disk. I also tried clean installation and upgrade, nothing works, after run installation program after few seconds wrote: OS X Snow Leopard cannot be install on this machine :-(

I would "guess", since you were in the middle of backing up, your backup is corrupt & most likely unusable. Only one way to find out though, & that's by trying to restore from that backup. If your pics are not there, they are gone.

This can be the result of selecting the wrong driver. An older, unsupported laser printer will sometimes work with the generic Postscript driver.
